This is a Belgian-style double brewed with a traditional coriander, and an uncommon addition of kaffir lime and lemongrass. An amber body, rich, flavorful, absolutely delicious, and entirely too drinkable for a beer thatís 8.5% ABV.

Very drinkable Belgian style beer. Malty and slightly muted hoppy flavor. Highly recommended for anyone that wants a drinkable beer with a higher alcohol content

16oz can, can squeezes a little too much, something may be a miss.. beer pours with no carb. and I mean 0. some malty flavor and no lime, lemongrass or other flavor just malt.

16oz can. Reddish brown in colour, hazy. Beige ring of head in the glass with very light lacing. Nose has lemon and lime notes and sweet toffee. Taste has some sweet toffee malts that fade into lemon and orangey hops, some coriander. Sweet finish, some toffee and brown sugar notes and notes of lime. Overall, a bit sweet for me, on the plus side it does drink lighter than a 8.5% beer should. Interesting beer, but not something I could drink more than one of.

Pours clear light brown, tan head. Nose is toast, phenols, hot alcohol. Taste is raisin/dried fruit, balance is toward the alcohol, a hint of lime that comes through in the finish, lots of caramel. Canít say I care for caramel in my dubbels, throws it out-of-whack. Lemongrass? Somewhere in the heat. Not terrible, but Iím not a huge fan. Just a sub-par dubbel, from my subjective perspective.

Pours a hazy light brown with a small off white head leaving a bit of lace on the glass. Aroma is sweet dried fruits, lemon grass, and caramel. Flavour is caramel, dark fruits, light alcohol, and mild lemon and lime.

Pours a clear amber with a light brown head. Aroma of candy sugar, coriander, citrus, caramel and belgian yeast. Taste is caramel, brown sugar, lemongrass with some lime on the finish. Interesting take on a regular double as the added citrus does make the high abv very smooth however the beer doesnít seem as full bodied as it could be.

Can shared thanks to Tim and Rachel! Pours a deep copper brown with thin cap of tan filmy head and light lacing. Aroma is odd astringency followed by spice and caramel. Taste is slightly better if you can somehow close your nose to the odd smell. Nice sweet malty aftertaste. Weird.

Thanks Tim and Rachel. Deep amber with a quickly fading head. Super synthetic raspberry and banana sweetness, Belgian candy sugars and not much else. Very sweet flavor with same fruitiness as the nose and a light spice and boozy end. Can't get down with this b

Deep mahogany clear body with bright ruby notes. Very belgian nose with sweet key lime notes. Smells a bit funky at first but evolves into greater complexity after it warms. Very sweet malty body consisting of a bready caramel character. Some golden raisin notes with sharp fresh grass and maybe plum and banana. Yeast notes are pervasive and the coriander is well done in how subtle its presence is made. Itís a little strange but does go together well.
