COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first commercial batch was a collaboration with our good friends at DryHop Brewers. To break from tradition this beer uses Simcoe and Citra in the boil and dryhop. A smooth drinking big beer with big flavors of orange, pineapple and pear. Expect the Devil to return

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. White golden with a big white head. A sweet tart fruity nose. Lots of malt here and gentle fruit. Citrus and nice cabinet spices. Some tropical fruit. This is a tasty beer.

On tap @ DryHop. Pours a hazy yellow gold. Big frothy white head leaves plenty of lacing throughout. Aroma is yeasty, with tropical fruit and citrus notes. Taste follows, with coriander spice, orange, pineapple and bananas making there presence. ABV is well hidden for 9.1%. Medium/full body with a good bit of carbonation and a slightly dry finish. A very nicely hopped up Belgian.

This is a belgium style beer I really love. Nice apricot grapefruit undertones with a simple hop and malt punch. Really smooth for as much alcohol is in this beer. Pours reddish yellow with a thin white head. Had at dryhop ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Effervescent golden pour with a huge thick pillowy white head with lots of sticky lacing. First aroma was a hint of fruity hops (mmm simcoe) then some more earthy esters and a hint of candied sugar some belgian saison like notes in there and a hint of alcoholic warmth. Well coated clean palate, some good carbonation... almost a bit over carbonated. The fruity hop notes come through quite a bit with definate pineapple and some nice warm alcohol notes in the swallow. Some sweet grain element that I can’t quite pick out and finishes with a light bitterness. Quite good.

Bottle pour. Matte peach color with a white head. Pretty. Dry hoping present on nose. Light pineapple. White bread. Lots going on. Belgium year pulls the taste sweeter. Bready too. Orange and pineapple mix in. Note of word on finish. A tad flat.

Hazy golden copper pour with a foamy white head. Aroma is juicy with big orange, slight grapefruit, and pineapple. Big bready, doughy notes as well, along with a slight musty funk. Nice carbonation up front, juicy grapefruit and orange with a mellow pineapple. Rolls into sweet doughy biscuit notes. Finish is crisp and citrus with a warming after the fact to remind you its 9.1%. Body is medium full. This one delivers. Super clean, solid beer.

Bottled. Poured cloudy straw golden with a quick-forming, dense white head. The aroma picked up lots of spices, salt, and pineapple over soft bready notes.. lemon zest, fresh hops, and coriander stuck on the back of the nose.. very interesting. The flavor opened with tart pineapple and oak, with soft bready notes following.. white wine, fresh grass and pineapple hops, and coriander laced throughout.. well-carbonated on the finish, carrying through fresh orange and pineapple notes plus Belgian-y spices. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated.. good feel and flow on the palate.. spicy and very interesting.

375ml bottle. Pours a rich golden pour with a huge white head, lots of lacing. Aroma of pineapple, tropical fruit, mild bready malts. Flavor is mildly sweet with some fruitiness and nice hop presence. Pineapple and pear to the forefront. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes fruity. Overall, pretty nice.

Draft at Beer Bistro. Pineapple hop/ester aroma and a hint of spiciness on top of a clean pils-like malt aroma. Pale amber color. Cloudy, why? Long-lasting, dense lacy head. Neutral malt flavor, a bit sweet. Interesting pineapple-peach profile. Carbonation a bit low by Belgian standards but works fine for draft. Outstanding.
