Draught @ Tap-House, Munich. Pours a dark amber ruby colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of red berries, caramel, earth and grass. Rich flavour of wheat, red berries, grass, caramel, nice banana esthers and wet earth. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Very well balanced. Feels fresh.

Dunkler, angenehm malziger Antrunk mit eher geringer Hefigkeit. Leicht nach vergorenen Früchten, süffig, leider nur wenig aromatischer werdend. Minimal röstiger Mittelteil, etwas trocken. 9/8/9/8/8/9

Bottle. Amber, cloudy, average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel and faint roasted malt, faint banana. Body is medium, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and faint banana. Finish is short to average, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint bread, light banana with faint yeast. Nothing special - not too sweet though.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, röstmalzig, Karamell, dunkle Früchte. Geschmack hefig, würzig malzig, dunkle Früchte.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass quite dark, nice head. Starts malty, strong, fine yeasty. Hints of caramel. A bit earthy. Soft-malty finish, a bit sourish with fruity berry notes. Interesting!

Deep brown colour, light milky, with low creamy steady head and medium to smooth body. Nose of dark malt. Taste of old nuts, dark bread, malt, roasted brown sugar and rich yeast. Easy to drink but just not that nice and quaffable. Average.

Careful on the pour, even with a slow tilt, it had a gigantic creamy head. Aroma is dark bread, a hint of chocolate, dried fruit, toast. Taste is pumpernickel, raisin toast, prune. Color is dark brown with thick, creamy beige head. Just enough sediment in the bottle to make it slightly murky. Slightly lingering palate and medium weight.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2013 Murky brown colour, thick light beige head. Aroma of banana, caramel, candy and rain water. Quite sweet flavour, coffee and milk, banana and cacao. Rather thin body, finish sweet coffee and malts.
Decent beer, though the initial aroma wasn’t too promissing.
