swoopjones (1173), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 30, 2008 @ Wiesengrund, Munich. Pours a lighty cloudy brown. Darker than most hefes. Sweet malty, clovey & light banana aroma & taste. Bready, sweet malts & wheaty. Good beer TaxiDriver (528), Stadland, Germany Aug 23, 2008 Bottle. Light yeasty, bread, light sweet. A large foamy white head and a clear dark orange body. Light acidic and sweet taste, rather short duration. A light to medium body with a light creamy texture and a soft carbonation. A nice Weizen yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 7, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark and hazy to almost murky brown with a small yet dense and creamy head, light tan. Orange fruity and light milky aroma. Flavour is fruity, of oranges and mild wheaty. Light malt note too. Milky and wheaty/estery finish. Not sure this is intentional and somewhat strange. DruncanVeasey (1720), No. 46, Leicestershire, Germany Jun 6, 2008 Muddy, heaped and wafting with clove, pepper, red apple, yeast, banana and candy (cigarettes). Just a touch of earthy dankness in there, too. Dampness, mildew, applepeel and even faint coffee as sometimes found in an English bitter or mild. More banana and apple, splashes of sourness, spice and dryness. Impressive weiss merging into dunkelweizen territory, with a nibble of England about it. Nice. Enjoyit (1104), Vadum, Denmark May 14, 2008 Hazy brown with a weak off white head. An aroma of wheat, yeast, caramel, sweets and banana. A flavor with roasted notes, wheat and sweets.
