50 cl bottle (4.9%) @ home as " Unertl Weißbier Original", BBE 29.12.2013
Aroma is odd and kotikalja-like with overripe bananas and rye. Feels a big sour too. Flavour is somewhat sour and tart with rye and. Odd, thin and slimy palate. Too messy.

0.5l bottle. Dark orange/light brown body, off-white head. A bit earthy aroma with some banana, caramel and toast. Taste of banana, lemon juice and caramel. Medium body, creamy texture. A bit too sweet for me, but still a nice weizen.

Bottle from Biershop Bayern. Amber/copper color with a fine firm head. Lots of caramel and fruit in the aroma. Malty/citrusy taste with distinct malty flavours. Mild finish. A VERY nice example of a classic old fashioned weissbier. One of the best I’ve tasted...

Bamsen78 (4926) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, hops and banana with grainy notes. Sweetish, yeasty and biscuity flavour with touches of hops, banana and malt. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Well-balanced. Good mouthfeel. A very nice GH!

Bottle. Well, that is one interesting hefeweizen! Banana, biscuits and pear in the aroma, with subtle vinous notes. Light tart, light sweet taste, high carbonation, fruity flavour with a yeasty and nutty finish. All along come those nice vinous, almost woody notes. Great!

Hanuta06 (440) - Washington, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer. Aroma: light, banana aroma. Appearance: small, frothy, off-white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, dark-red body. Taste: slightly lemony initial flavor and lightly sour, banana-like finish with long duration. Palate: light body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Overall: very good.

Bottle, brought from Berlin. Pours a dark orange coloured beer with a small, white head. Aroma is heavy on the bananas and wheat. Very nice. Flavouri starts quite bland, but ends in a nice, subtle wheaty sweetyness with a rich, banana flavoured finish. Finish doesn’t last long. Decent carbo, nice weizen.

lusikka (7680) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 28, 2013
500 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a white foamy head with good retention. Aroma of wheat, strong ripe raisins and some palm. Flavour of sweet malts, banana, raisins and rather strong uncommon spiciness (cinnamon, at least). Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a sweetish fruity finish with spices. Rather unique hefeweizen, although the spiciness is a bit too strong.
