Serving: Draft. It pours a hazy, light brown with a hint of gold. Small white head. Light banana notes in the nose. Light wheat and banana notes in the flavor with a hint of maltiness. Fairly crisp finish. Decent.

Not the clearest of beers which looks like poor home brew fortunately it made up for things in taste. No banana taste but slightly sweet whilst retaining a pleasant buttery and bittery taste. I could drink this again if the first bottle is a good indication. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy dark mahogany color with a medium sized head. Aroma of ripe fruits, some mild banana esthers, yeast and some herbal notes. Flavour of banana, some wheat, wet straw and faint spices. Strong carbonation, sourish palate. Below average.

50 cl bottle (4.9%) @ home as " Unertl Weißbier Original", BBE 29.12.2013
Aroma is odd and kotikalja-like with overripe bananas and rye. Feels a big sour too. Flavour is somewhat sour and tart with rye and. Odd, thin and slimy palate. Too messy.

0.5l bottle. Dark orange/light brown body, off-white head. A bit earthy aroma with some banana, caramel and toast. Taste of banana, lemon juice and caramel. Medium body, creamy texture. A bit too sweet for me, but still a nice weizen.

Bottle from Biershop Bayern. Amber/copper color with a fine firm head. Lots of caramel and fruit in the aroma. Malty/citrusy taste with distinct malty flavours. Mild finish. A VERY nice example of a classic old fashioned weissbier. One of the best I’ve tasted...

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, hops and banana with grainy notes. Sweetish, yeasty and biscuity flavour with touches of hops, banana and malt. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Well-balanced. Good mouthfeel. A very nice GH!

Bottle. Well, that is one interesting hefeweizen! Banana, biscuits and pear in the aroma, with subtle vinous notes. Light tart, light sweet taste, high carbonation, fruity flavour with a yeasty and nutty finish. All along come those nice vinous, almost woody notes. Great!

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer. Aroma: light, banana aroma. Appearance: small, frothy, off-white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, dark-red body. Taste: slightly lemony initial flavor and lightly sour, banana-like finish with long duration. Palate: light body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Overall: very good.
