| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Tangy, tangy, tangy! Top 5 of the most aromatic beers I’ve ever had, but I suppose that’s half the point of this beer. A wonderful yeasty nose with bubble gum and sour apple. The aroma never died. Reminded me of fresh Cantillon lambic, although sweeter and not as dry. Flavor mirrored the nose, quite tangy with no artificial or forced flavors. Only issue I had was the long finish; long after I’d finished the beer it felt as if I’d had a sour apple candy, and candy-like was not at all my experience of this beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Aroma of apple and some coriander. Appearance is cloudy gold with short lived head. Flavor has some apple, but also some pineapple and cherry, with coriander mixed in as well. One reviewer compared this to a cider, but I thought it was more like a Belgian Ale with some lively fruits. The palate was pretty lively as well. Overall, a pretty good beer, not overly fruity, but not non-intrusive either. coldmeat23 (233), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Pours a crystal clear dark golden color. Nice big head that dissipates rather quickly. Minimal foamy lacing, almost non-existant.
Smells like yeasty sugarcakes, topped with apples and cotton candy. Apple smell is natural, not artificial. Big funky Belgian-like yeast notes. Spicey notes of coriander.
Espscially after the way this smells, I expected the apple to be more prominent. It’s very subdued and mellow. Tastes very much like a ’light’ cider with a little extra body.
Smells wonderful, but misleads you to the point of being disappointed by the actual flavor.
Feels similar to an ale, in body. Light and crisp, yet mantains a slight touch of creaminess.
At only 5.5% abv, there is nothing here to draw me back. If I have an urge for something like this, I’d rather have a cider.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Very delicious beer. Dark, golden yellow in appearance with an apple aroma. Sweet at first but goes down briskly with a high carbonation. Apple envelops this brew! drowland (1395), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Bottle. Pours cloudy golden amber with a fizzy white head that disappears right away. The aroma is slight rotten fruit and a big dose of fresh green apples, including a bit of sour. The flavor is a bit light, but with just a hint of sweet apple. This doesn’t taste like apple juice or cider, it really tastes like green apples. The high fizzy carbonation reminds of soda pop. BeerChaser0078 (324), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow/orange with a quick white head. Nose is sweet and is mainly of apples with a hint of citrus as well. Flavour is a little more complex, apples and citrus still stand out but there are also hints of malt, honey, mineral and some spice. Mouthfeel is quite dry with some tartness and a medium to long finish that’s sweet and slightly bitter. A nice fruit beer from Unibroue that is sufficiently different from a cider to make it all worthwhile.
