I enjoyed in the sharing of this fine beer with thedm and BBB63 recently. I definitely agree with BBB63 that if one can find a bottle of this one, buy it and drink up! It poured a small sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles that completely dissipated. The body was uncarbonated, cloudy with a butterscotch hue. The nose was yeasty, fruity and some hops. The flavor consisted of some alcohol, fruitiness and some spices. The palate was smooth and somewhat on the dry side and medium bodied. There was a fair amount of lacing with this beer.

Wonderful brew! Too bad it is retiring. The now rare bottle poured a large head of finely sized mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind a hazy semi-opaque orange brown colored body with no visible carbonation. Its aroma was of a mild yeat or dough variety with a mouthfeel that was tingly and smooth from start to finish with no bite at all. Its flavor was that of mild clove, spices and well hidden alcohol. Just an extremely nice brew all-around!

Thanks to theDM and hotstuff for bringing this brew for me to taste. Cloudy yellow hue with a small frothy white head and fair lace. Aroma hinted of bread, grains, perfumy hops. cheesy yeast, sour apple and mango fruits, vanilla, dust and most noticable was the spices. Complex. The taste was a bit spicy, fruity and lightly alcoholic and hint of biscuit. Medium-bodied with a dry and lively mouthfeel. This is a delicate but complex brew. If you can still find a bottle, I would recommend buying it and enjoying now.

Slightly cloudy light golden yellow with a large white head. Nose of bananas, cloves, grass, lemon, and spice. Champagne like mouthfeel with a good amount of carbonation. Flavor is nicely balanced with notes of bananas, pineapple, apple, cloves and a hint of cinnamon.

2 years old bottle - Light brown/yellowish brew with a great head that stayed on for a while. Good body with alcohol taste a bit distinct. Very complex mix of spice with a sweet aftertaste. Anotgher great belgium inspired brew from Unibroue.

Lasting head retention. Beautiful sparkling wet straw color. Fruity without being bold. Touch of ginger. Almost effervescent. Creamy texture. The sample I tried could've used some aging. Very good though.

Slightly hazy, wheat colored gold body with a white head. Some lacing.
Lots of sour apples in the aroma. Yeast and somewhat bready. You can tell wheat makes up a nice % of the grist.
Wheat, yeast, green apples with a noble hop bite.
Medium-bodied with a crisp, wheat finish.
