Commercial Description:
Launched to celebrate Unibroue's 11th Anniversary, 11 has a rich aroma reminiscent of ripe fruit and fig, and is accompanied by a delicate spicy after note. The taste is complex and its body more than generous. This unique strong beer is warm and intriguing whilst remaining smooth and delicate. With its 11% Alcohol, "11" is the highest alcohol content beer in Quebec. Produced in limited quantity and sold for a very minimal price for its quality, only about 6000 cases of this special brew will be sold.

My pour had a huge white head sitting on top of the amberish body. this full bodied beer delivered malt alcohol and yeast notes at every chance that it got. the sweetness was inturrupted only long enough for the alcohol an slight yeast bite to squeeze by and say "hi." all in all a good beer but i would rather have Unibroue 10.

750ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazed burnt orange color with zero head. Tons of sweet candied dark fruits and malt on the nose. Flavor was sweet with malt and some baking spices. Brew was medium/ full in body. A damn good Belgian Ale.

Bottle, at BA Throwdown #2. Pours a golden reddish color, creamy lacing, nice head. Bright cider nose, Belgian yeast, some mellow notes. Creamy notes of vanilla and caramel. Some interesting creamy maltiness, with lots of wheat. Drinkable, held up very well, very good.

Tasted 8/19/08. 750ml cork and cage. Upon opening, the cork is stinky and darkened. Pours a hazy body with a golden orange hue. Slight trace head with no pop when it was opened. Candy nose with hints of grapes, citrus and berries. Good nose! Ever so slight vinuous note. Full bodied with a solid yet melded burn. Typical Unibroue character with a nice mix of citrus and honey. Medium roasted sweet malts. As complex as this beer is, I keep going over and over the honey and citrus flavors. Stickt finish with a faint slight hop character. So smooth with flavors of graham crackers and lemon acidity. Moderate effervescence. So good! And I still have one left!
