| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 13, 2008 Hazy orange yellow color with a fleeting white head. Sweet smell of cotton candy and pit fruits. Medium bodied. Fruity sweet yeasty bread flavor here reminds me of the Edition 2004. Alcohol is well cloaked. Nice enough. 12406 jstraw (758), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Aroma is a sweet fruity yeast scent. Color is a hazy golden with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is crisp, sweet and fruity. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes in sweet with a fruity yeast flavor and a faint orange taste. Alcohol is perceptible in the after taste with a mild bitterness. Not the best brew Unibroue has done, its just not very complex. That said it is still a good brew. rocbyter (912), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA

Bitter grape beginning that mellows in the finish and becomes slightly dry. Alcohol hidden very well in the taste. wnp22 (682), Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Rated in Los Angeles while at the SCTE ET 2008 conference. 750ml bottle. Obtained from Whole Foods (Westwood). Rated from a hotel bar glass. Pours a very hazy straw / yellow color, thin wispy white head. Aroma is spicy with hints of vinegar and sour grape, possibly a rubber band or two. (reminds me of La Benite or possibly Don de Dieu) Flavor is balanced, starts off sweet, big malty bread like notes and then finishes with a spicyness that lingers for many seconds after swallowing. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2008 Bottle. Golden orange opaque pour, light white head. Aroma very fruity, particularly citrusy at first, with some light spice notes. Becomes more appley soon, and as it warms more and more peary. Flavor also introduces some wheat, stays pretty similar to the nose, tended to get slightly too sweet at times, but that’s just being picky. Palate pretty typical, and good, for an amber-colored Belgian strong. Enjoyed this one a lot. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
