Pours a burnt gold, very cloudy with a thick white head. Kind of a spicy aroma, almost like a saison, some orange and cinnamon stand out. Taste has that Unibroue yeast, but has some spiciness to it. Quite sweet, some nice brown sugar and caramel seem to compliment each other nicely. Finish is really smooth, but the alcohol is prevalant and can taste it quite easily. Pretty nice.

Hazy yellow gold hue, with a frothy white head, leaving laces, sweet grainy pale malt and yeasty nose of lemon, grapefruit, pear and pineapple fruitiness, honey note, good spiciness, with a zesty citrucy aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, sweet alcoholic character, of pears and citrus fruits, hint of vanilla spiciness, nice mouthfeel carbonation, with some honey sweet malts, leading towards a faint hop bitterness, and a fruity warmth alcoholic finish.

Pours a cloudy straw gold, highly effervescent, with a small, bubbly white head. Aroma big on Belgian yeasts and rich malts. Some coriander in there as well. Palate is highly carbonated and biting, but in a good way. Lots of banana and clove with a healthy dose of doughy malts and more yeast. A hint of sour apple and ripe fruit. Alcohol is fairly noticeable. Finish is dry and alcoholic. This is a tasty, well-rounded beer.

750 mL bottle. Cloudy deep honey color with short lived white head. Green apple aroma. Sweet malty taste and alcohol dominate with fruit and cloves lingering in the background and a very dry alcoholic finish.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with a huge fizzy white head that quickly goes down to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is slightly sour and tart yeastiness, bready malts and some banana and cloves.

The flavor is sweet and slightly tart and fruity malts and bananas and cloves with a musty dry finish that is slightly bitter. More sweetness comes out as it warms. The mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation.

Overall, an OK Belgian - nothing special. It’s kind of like a trippel, but a little too sweet.

Thx to sk8viking. Pours a hazy orange. Smells yeasty in the beginning, after that sweet and fruity. Quite sweetand sugary. Flavors of grain and some fruit. Abricots. Rather trippleish. Sweet and fruity, slightly sour in the finish with a bit of dryness. Reminds me of a not-so-sweet La Terrible.

15 pours a dim gold with a firm, creamy white head that lasts all night. The lacing is supreme. The aroma is of blood orange and wooden hops. It has a thick, smooth, slick body-- It’s chewy! The flavor is sweet and sour and bitter-- all at once and all tied together nicely. (c’est Unibroue!) Throw that on a carpet of warm alcohol and you have "15". I love beers like this.

This beer has an awesome ABV. I know that people think that a high ABV does not mean a great beer, but let’s face it, it does help. The beer had a sweet smell to it, but I hate to say it the smell was rather weak. The fruity smell did not smack me in the face, I had to stick my nose practically in the beer to smell it. The beer was malty, but the smell was weak, and so was the flavor. I couldn’t pin-point what fruits I was getting. The palate was great along with the appearance which is why I am very disappointed that the 15th anniversary bottle did not pull through. The positive aspects of the palate was the creamy and smooth texture. Middle of the road expensive beer.
