Bottle. Aroma of some pit fruit, yeast, lemon. Pretty carbonated. Kind of tastes like a belgian farmhouse, but not a lot of flavor overall. It is easy drinking for 10%.

Solid beer from Unibroue. Hazy golden straw color and lots of carbonation - has the typical Unibroue yeasty nose. Very easy drinking for 10% and even nicer after it warms up just a bit.

THOUGHTS: Had that special Uni aroma and flavor. A pretty good beer but not even nearly the best Uni. I was a little disappointed with this one. The flavor, palate and aroma were all pleasant but a little weak. The appearance on the other had was a little strange. It did looked a little like highly carbonated urine. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a cloudy, medium to dark yello with a huge foamy, white head that lasted for a while but left only a little lacing. There was also beautiful carbonation bubbles. The aroma was moderately yeasty with white wine, dust, a little bit of spice and maybe some apple. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and acidic, moderately bitter and also sour, while the finish was lightly sweet, acidic bitter and also sour with a short duration. The body was light to medium and dry with very fizzy carbonation and a chalky finish

750ml bottle. Pours a translucent golden with a large bright white head. Aroma is pretty faint but I kind of pick up on some yeast and a little fruit. Taste is very light. There is carbonation in the mouthfeel but the taste is almost non-existant for a Strong Ale of this strength. Very surprising. This is like Duvel light. On one hand I am impressed a 10% beer can be so easy to drink but on the other I am disappointed at its weak flavor. Maybe my bottle was bad but this was very disappointing.

750ml bottle: This is a big POP as the cork comes out of this one. This one pours a hazy golden color, with a fairly large white head. The head subsides rather quickly. The aroma is quite nice. Spicy, with lesser notes of bread and coriander and some fruits. The flavor is good. Somewhat sweet taste, with a hint of peppery spice also. Touch of fruits. It almost has a fizzy feel on the tongue. Another nice one!

750 ml. Aroma is spice. Nice hoppy, warm flavor, with some hops and malt flavors to boot. Alcohol is only marginally noticable for it being a 10% beer.
