Coarse huge white head. Deep yellow slightly hazy body with intense carbonation. Sharp, sweet tropical fruity aroma with soft hoppy notes. Taste is deep, bitterish tropical fruit and yeasty, bready notes. Lightish. Tobacco and hop aftertaste. Nice, but not too great. (0.75l bottle. Thanks to gr0ve.)

Bottle. Poured hazy orange color with medium fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma was as complex sour citrus yeasty. Flavor was full with hops and yeasty tone and spices. Full body with long bittersweet finish with medium alcohol bite. Good brew.

Bottle. Clear, deep golden colour with a rocky offwhite head. Spicy, coriander and yeast aroma. Sweet malty flavour, spicy with noticeable alcohol. Quite full-bodied. A very nice trippel.

Bottled. Dry, sharp beer with a nice edge to it. A Belgian style ale on the (pleasantly) sour side.

[130-20061209] Bottle. Aroma has light sweetness and light hoppiness. Cloudy, light orange body with no bubbles and a small white head. Spicy celery flavour with light sweetness complexity. Palate eventually comes together. OK but not tipping my hat.

Pours a clear peach amber, very effervescent, with tiny, barely visible flecks of yeast or protein in suspension - though not enough to take away from the overall clarity of the beer. A nearly white head of sudsy foam sits on top, lasting a good long time due to being continually rebuilt from the bottom, but this provides scant lacing. A sweetish aroma of honeymalt, yeast, and soft apricot fruitiness is absolutely delightful. The flavor is much drier than the aroma, with flavors of tart unripe peach, bone dry mead, light citrus hops, a hint of tangy pineapple, and a very faint grainy malt. Lots of good tart dry tangy flavor, but not balanced enough with sweet malt. Hop bitterness and alcohol mingle in the finish, and these are joined by a carbonation bite in the aftertaste. Medium body, lots of carbonation. A good beer, but if the soft sweetness and yeast characteristics that were so prevalent in the aroma had carried into the flavor, it would have been exceptional. Bottle dated January 6, 2006 - served at cellar temp in a Belgian goblet. NOTE: At the end of the bottle, I swirl and dump the yeast. This kills the clarity of course, and provides a little spicy yeast character to the flavor and aftertaste. But not enough to change my overall impressions or scoring of the beer. Still needs more maltiness to make it more enjoyable - which really means to make it exceptional.

citrus aromas with similar flavors. light yellow in color with a decent head. Alcohol was quite evident in the finish, and perhaps a bit too strong. Overall a little strange.

The smell was pungant to me with a hint of vomit. The tast was ok if I held my nose. I just dont like this style of beer.
