Decent sized fluffy white head of fine bubbles. Good carbonation. Wonderful light, sweet and fruity aroma. Oranges, yeast, spices and a bit of honey. Color is a hazy golden orange. Oh so smooth. Maybe because it is because I have not had a decent brew in a while but this stuff tastes amazing. Big alcohol warming. More fruit, green apples, and spices throughout. More yeast and cloves/corriander. This hits all of the marks for a great belgian. A little sweeter than most and maybe that is why I like it so much. Little fizzy in the mouth. Finish is dry and alcoholic with a light pasty mouthfeel. A damn fine belgian and one that is going to hurt me in a little while.

750 ml bottle. Pours a golden orange with a large, but short lived, white head. A nice aroma of green apple, banana and spice. A strong clove flavor with banana, apple, and malt. It’s a little sweet but very well balanced. Nice carbonation makes this very lively on the palate as well.

This beer is too focused on the alcohol. It dominates the aroma and the flavor. There is some sweet malt and sugar. Dry finish.

Pours a nice pilnery golden hue. Very nice malt profile, but dominated by alchohol. A little too pronounced on the alcohol, and slightly unbalanced

(Bottle) Orange/yellow colour, slightly hazy. Huge, but brief, foamy, white head leaving almost no lacing. Quite lively carbonation. Fruity, aromatic nose with notes of banana, pineapple and grapefruit, hints of ginger and clove in a slightly wheatish style. Fruity taste with banana, grapefruit, lime, yeast and white bread. Delicate notes of spicy hops in the sweetish, warming finish. Medium body, slightly prickly carbonation, warming (well, it was -10 degrees C outside when I sampled it). Rather vinous with a punch of alcohol in the finish, without being aggressive. Complex but still well balanced.

Pours a medium rust color with a thin head that dissipaited with some speed. Big bold aroma of alcohol, and malts. I caught some blackberry, razz, and other dark fruits in there as well.......a great brew!

Cloudy orange pour with an initially huge and fizzy white head that recedes to a slight film. Aroma is very strong, like every other Unibroue. Very fruity and spicy aroma with a bit of malt in the back. Initial impression is that it’s nicely carbonated and somewhat creamy. Banana leading to some bubblegum and apple/green grapes. Somewhat sweet finish. This should go excellent with food and is an easy drinker. Average rating (3.66) is dead on for this strong ale.
