A pretty pronounced spiciness but other than that it was bland and boring. Better luck next year. TheBeerOrg (1569), Kentucky, USA

Taste and aroma are peppery, sweet fruity and yeasty, cotton candy, bubble gum. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy bodied, and sweet as usual from Unibroue. The fruitiness of this falls short about midway through the finish, perhaps due to the greater precence of alcohol. Very similar yeast to the Edition 2004. gallagwar (30), USA

Fruity aroma is very pleasant. Good flavor has a strong alcohol and a subtle honey flavor. The extreme level of carbonation left me a bit frustrated, however, as it was an excellent beer otherwise...reading other descriptions leads me to believe the bottle I drank had a higher-than-normal level of CO2...but this may not bother other consumers as much as it did me TampaBeer (183), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 15, 2006 Bottle shared with the gang at Decemberfest 2006 -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a murky light gold with a large lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and yeasty with spices, fruit and light hops. Flavour follows the aroma but I liked it even more: Yeasty, spicy, fruity and with a bitter/alcoholic finish - -easy to drink and quite flavourful. Medium bodied. Really good and gets better the further you get into it. shp555 (1681), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2006 Pours a hazy yellow color with a white fluffy head. Aroma is of light sweet malts and spices, nutmeg. Very smooth spicey flavor that finishes kind of sweet. Good mouth feel for such a light colored beer.
