Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Nov 2, 2006 Hazy yellow color. Lots of carbonation created big short lived off white head. Sharp citrus aroma with some sweetness following close behind. Complex fruity flavor: cherries, apricots, apples, pineapple, lemon and lime. Wow. The finish seems spicy with pepper and coriander plus a hint of alcohol. Really nice beer. Smooth flavors notes that meld together in an orchestrated way. TheBeerCollector (548), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Nov 1, 2006 Delicious. This beer is so easy to drink and flavorful that the 10% abv will sneak up and kick you where the sun don’t shine. Tasty, smooth and very satisfying. SSSteve (2047), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 29, 2006 orange, gold under a large foamy, off-white head. hops(citrus), yeast, white grapes, pineapple, and a hint of marshmallows in aroma. hops, yeast, and marshmallows in flavor. lalubeer (57), Canada Oct 20, 2006 Flavour is very sweet, too much sweet, but good yeasty and dark fruits taste. Also some notes of spices. I preferred the other anniversary editions, but quite satisfied with this one. tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 15, 2006 enjoyable, warming, slightly fruity, wish was available in ontario or Quebec!!! GriffinAvenue (395), Winchester, Massachusetts, USA Oct 14, 2006 750 ml bottle. Three finger foam. Lacy. Lemony-golden coloring. Translucent but not overly hazy. Full, three part flavor from tongue, roof of mouth, and throat. Hints of banana, lemon, and other fruits I can’t put my finger on. Wheat-like, oddly similar to a hefeweizen. Good, not great.
drainey (231), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 12, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy yellow body with a significant head. Aroma of banana, spice, and Belgian yeast. Flavor is sweet with banana and spice, but a bit cloying. Decent, but not my favorite. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA Oct 12, 2006 Overly spicy phenolic nose. Hott for a Unibroue product. Not a beer I care to consume again
