Medium gold, good head. Slightly fruity and yeasty aroma, hint of apricot and pear. Flavor matched, with a bit of spiciness. Good beer, but stunning to me that these guys managed to create yet another beer that is so stylistically similar to the rest of their offerings. Hard to get excited about it.

Pours a nearly clear effervescent gold with a huge fluffy loose off white head. Clean, Unibroue yeast aroma, slightly sharp and minerally with malt and apple/pear esters and a bit of banana. A bit peppery in flavor, supported by sweet malt. Maybe spiced? Has some hop bitterness and yeast in the finish. Certainly another quality Unibroue product but perhaps not as inspired as previous years.

Bottle. Pours a generous head that starys. Lots of activity - typical unibroue. The taste is very mild with some spices acting in. Not too sweet. It seems to lose it’s momentum in flavor and carbonation near the end - odd. Overall a good belgian strong from unibroue but a little pricey.

Pours a blood orange leaving a thin white lace that disappears quickly. The body is cloudy and moderatly carbonated with a slight alcohal presence. The smell is spicy, wheaty, musty, fresh cut grass, with a pale malt honey notes. The taste is sweet upfront, honey and a sharp hop bite that perfectly matches the sweetness in the brew. This is another great offering from Unibroue.

75 cL bottle. Cloudy golden color. The aroma is estery, bubblegum, and has some alcohol along with some spices (coriander, orange peel, maybe others). The flavor is not too sweet, just some from candi sugar possibly. You homebrewers know this effect---add sugar & it helps the beer ferment down further so it is drier but it does leave some inherent sweetness. The spices are nicely balanced. It’s somewhat dry but very pleasant and drinkable. Good beer!

Dull gold murky appearance – nice thick head at pour– nose is sour grass, fresh and bright – medium body – taste is sweet (honey) and sour (citrus/orange) with very apparent yeast - aftertaste creamy with a touch acidic taste

Poured a hazy golden color with a huge light golden head that seemed to last forever. Distinct alcohol content, and qute a bit of carbonation. A very compex nose, with malts, and lots of fruits and spices. Mouthfeel is clean and brisk. This is sort of what I have come to expect from Unibroue. While this was overall a nice offering, it is by no means worth the very high price this bottle commanded. In the interest of tryihg everythihg at least once it was OK, but it would have to cost half as much before I would buy it again.
