Bottle. Close to 3 years old. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Nice fruity and yeasty aroma. Age has probably dulled this beer a bit because the flavor was a bit bland, although it was very well balanced and had no off flavors. Light fruity sweetness, Unibroue yeastyness that all their beers have, and some spices floating in the background. Very nice.

A hazy blonde ale with a thick white head. A pleasant aroma of coriander, Curacao, catnip, very herbaceous. In mouth, a light sweet candy sugar, with orange peels, coriander, and light pears. A nice alcohol warmth. Medium bodied. Tasted around Jan 2007.

Thanks for sharing this Harry, really appreciated! Sampled at Paul’s BBQ, Aug 08. Looks nice - light hazy yellow, good sized white head. Very sticky sweet yeasty Unibroue aroma.Taste: great - held up well. Not as complex as some other Unibroues, but very sticky sweet and flavourful. Not sure what age has done to this one, but I liked it a lot!

I love the aroma of this brew....very sweet...sickly sweet actually. The color is thick amber, and it looks thick....the head is a little soapy, and I’m afraid the first taste was a bit soapy also....but then the other flavors break through...malty...a little....something sweet in this. Its a bit hard to make out. Its good....but not making me jump around.

Bottle. This wasn’t at my usual beer spot which has a great selection so when I saw it while beer searching in Kentucky I had to get it. Hazy golden with a fizzy head which dissapates quickly. Sweet aroma of fruit, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor is sweet with no surprise. Overly carbonated (again not a surprise from these guys) slick on the tongue and easily drinkable. This is a good beer but not amazing.

Very good beer courtesy of kiefdog. It pours a nice deep yellow with a Unibroue head (very intense and carbonated). It smells very light with sugar and light fruit. It tastes of apple, sugar, alcohol, more apple, and caramel/ toffee. Sweet on the finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle, for my 500th rating I figured I would try this one Thanks KegBear. The pour is a nice frothy yellowish with a nice head. The aroma is a great blend of spice and some fruit. The taste is fruity with a bit of a bite but not from the alcohol. The alcohol is hidden incredibly well. This is an amazing beer. Too bad they stopped making it. I love it

Bottle marked January 6, 2006. Beer went down well with Asian style ribs, fried rice and bok choy (lemon pound cake for desert). Pours with a larish, white head covering an opaque yellow body. Strong lacing. Aroma of spice, yeast, apples and pears. Taste is yeasty, dry and pretty straight forward. Not overly complex, but alcohol is well hidden for sure! Dry and slightly lively natural carbonation.
