Nov 16, 2006 Bottled. Hazy golden, lively head. Perfumy pineapple aroma. Medium sweet with spritzy rounded mouthfeel. Cidery and lightly fruity with a lighter body than expected. Evident Belgian style yeast character, notes of grassy hops. Well balanced. Very good - as usual from Unibroue.

Dec 2, 2006 (Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy, amber golden with tiny impurities and an off-white head. Lightly sweet aroma with some yeast up there. Full-bodied and sweetish malty with traces of diacetyl and yeast. Basically no bitterness. Not bad at all, but I really wish Unibroue would show more diversity in their beers. 011206

Jun 25, 2006 Updated: Jun 26, 2006While ugly - dull beige with a loose head - and smelling mainly of foot, mushroom and stiff alcohol, this isn’t bad at all. The full body shows a lively dance between coriander, green peppercorn and dried sichuan pepper skins versus alcohol, over a backdrop of warm and doughy thick pale malts.
