A hazy orange beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet malty and quitey spicy, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry and quite spicy end-

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy, amber golden with tiny impurities and an off-white head. Lightly sweet aroma with some yeast up there. Full-bodied and sweetish malty with traces of diacetyl and yeast. Basically no bitterness. Not bad at all, but I really wish Unibroue would show more diversity in their beers. 011206

Bottled. Hazy golden, lively head. Perfumy pineapple aroma. Medium sweet with spritzy rounded mouthfeel. Cidery and lightly fruity with a lighter body than expected. Evident Belgian style yeast character, notes of grassy hops. Well balanced. Very good - as usual from Unibroue.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Hazy golden colour with particles floating around. Head is mediumsized and white. Aroma is pretty much lemon, some slight glueish alcohol, wood and some yeast. Flavour is fruity, lots of peach, some glueish alcohol and caramel malts. Apples and some grassyness in the finish. Fruity, but bittery aftertaste.

While ugly - dull beige with a loose head - and smelling mainly of foot, mushroom and stiff alcohol, this isn’t bad at all. The full body shows a lively dance between coriander, green peppercorn and dried sichuan pepper skins versus alcohol, over a backdrop of warm and doughy thick pale malts.

Corked bottle
Cloudy orange color; nice perlage; thin creamy head. Aroma of malt with some mango. Good body structure, malt, sweetness, some fruits (sweet grape, muscadel). Warming in the end. Less dry and quite different from other Unibroue. Very good.
