While ugly - dull beige with a loose head - and smelling mainly of foot, mushroom and stiff alcohol, this isn’t bad at all. The full body shows a lively dance between coriander, green peppercorn and dried sichuan pepper skins versus alcohol, over a backdrop of warm and doughy thick pale malts.

Cloudy pale yellow color with a generous fine white head. Aroma is fruity, white wine and yeast. Flavor starts fruity and spicy with a little clove, a hint of banana, lightly sweet with a little lemon finishing peppery and and lightly dry. Medium bodied and smoth with moderate carbonation.

Big white head, diminishing. Medium yellow, clear. Lots of lemon, yeast in the aroma. Taste is citrus, very bitter hops. Bubblegum in there as well. Finish is light hops, clean.

(750ml bottle) Medium white head that does not linger, atop a lightly hazed straw body. Aroma is moderately sweet, banana, some bubblegum, melon. Taste is moderately sweet, banana, bubblegum, light clove. Alcohol present but not overpowering. Medium body. Kind of a Tripel, but lacks the dryness.

Bottle shared by Blake. Clear orange-amber body with a thick foamy head suspended by continuous carbonation. Zippy aroma - fresh ginger, bready yeast, spicy thyme, and alcohol pepper all over creamy-sweet pale malt. Very enticing. The flavor packs a healthy amount of green pepper alcohol. This along with some stemmy hops and dry malt make up the baseline flavor while bready, fruit-estery (green apple and pineapple) yeast ride on top. The finish leaves you with bread dough, pepper skin and leaf. Lots of flavors in this guy but again the belgian-stylings fail to reel me in. Too much alcohol, too.

This Belgian Ale pours a deep brown color from a cork finished 750ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is biscuits, yeast, with some citrus and pepper. A medium bodied Belgian strong ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Brown sugar, banana and bubble gum mix and match with coriander, pepper and clove. There is also a very noticeable alcohol bite to this beer as well. Smooth tasting, despite all that alcohol. It tastes like most if not all of Unibroue other Belgian Ales. Definitely has that house character that makes them all seem pretty much alike. Not that that is a bad thing… Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a alcohol bite.

Hazy gold, fluffy pilow white head. Nose is yeast, fruit (pineapple, orange, some sort of berry), clove, ginger, a hint of alcohol, slight astringency. Flavor is really fruity but I can’t place it. Not quite pineapple. Clove, ginger, alcohol, yeasty goodness w. some pepper. Alcohol is apparent in the finish but not overbearing.

Hazy yellow-orange colour. White head. Fruits, banana and sweet malt in aroma. And a little pepperish in arom. Sweet malty flavor and in a same way pepperish. A big mouthfeel.
