Taste and aroma are peppery, sweet fruity and yeasty, cotton candy, bubble gum. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy bodied, and sweet as usual from Unibroue. The fruitiness of this falls short about midway through the finish, perhaps due to the greater precence of alcohol. Very similar yeast to the Edition 2004. BitchesBrew (712), Oakland, California, USA

Aroma is of characteristic yeast, some banana, very spicy. Fruity pear/apricot flavors with plenty of spices and some nice alcohol warmth. Keeps up with the standard of yearly releases from the brewery. Slightly peppery, warm finish. Excellent. SudsMcDuff (1842), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Poured hazy golden yellow with medium white head. Soft carbonation. Fruity spicy aroma. Medium bodied ale that starts dry with malt, fruit (dried orange peel?), spicy (coriander?) flavors. Finished dry with spicy malt fade. Smooth and complex flavor character. Styled like a Belgium Trippel, this is an excellent drinkable ale. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore

Pours perfectly and I think that tastewise this beer delivers as well. This was extremely enjoyable and I’d say this was my best Unibroue so far. rocbyter (930), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA

Bitter grape beginning that mellows in the finish and becomes slightly dry. Alcohol hidden very well in the taste. gallagwar (30), USA

Unibroue always has nice head retention. Aroma of spice and sweet apples. Flavor is almost cider-like, with the alcoholic strength present but still second to sweetness. It has a nice acidity like a white wine, too. Light and spicy, this beer has aged exceptionally - I think Unibroue had a real winner with this one. It’s a pleasure to drink.
