kassner (429), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 9, 2008 Had this beer with friends in Glyndon MD from the bottle. A really nice Belgian style, n oticble in some subtle taste, but while big, not exceptionally bigger than most triples. durhambeer (1187), Durham, USA Apr 6, 2008 Nice bright orange hazy pour with a generous white head. Citrus, yeast, banana, sweet summer fruits, and spice on the nose. Not overly sweet on the palate, which I very much appreciated. A little cinnamon added to the cloves and fruits on the palate. Pleasantly yeasty and alcohol was very pleasant but not burning. Quite a lovely beer, and a great value. ScoWRee (275), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 5, 2008 Pours a beautiful golden amber with a nice thick white head. Aroma of clove citrus, banana. Taste is spicy but not overpowering.Hints of plum, carmel and bananna. This is a very nice BSA. JHunter (242), British Columbia, Canada Apr 1, 2008 bought last year at brewery creak poured a dark colour with a off white head. sweet spicey with aa light alc. flavour Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Mar 29, 2008 750ml bottle from BevMo. Pours a hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. The nose is full of spice, sugar, cloves, and alcohol. Bubbly in the mouth and warming down the throat, the taste is a blend of banana, spices, alcohol, and cinnamon. Pretty nice to relax once or twice with a bottle in a lifetime, but that is probably about it. beerdad (74), Kansas, USA Mar 27, 2008 Bottled. Local store actually still had some of this. Pours dark amber. Light tan head. Aromas include plums cherry and yeast. Flavors to match with smoked malts and alcohol present on the tongue. Unibroue does another bang up job with this product. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Mar 17, 2008 Deep amber and hazy with a thick off-white head. Aromas of plums and raisins, caramel and a slight yeastiness. Flavors of dark fruits, cherries and sweet malt.
AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Mar 13, 2008 Glowing amber with a frothy tan head that lingers. Good smell is raisons, plum pudding with a custard milky sweetness. Frothy expanding mouthfeel. Flavor mirrors the aroma with liquid plum pudding; bready, yeasty with sweet raisons and spicy alcohol. For me this is Uni’s best anniversary beer since "11".
