bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Sep 5, 2007 Bottle thx to Dr. J. Hazy amber coloured with a rather large offwhite head. Kinda sweet/sour with notes of cirtus, yeast, caramel, spices and a slight alco burn. Smooth mouthfeel. waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA Sep 4, 2007 bottle. mahogony pour with thick foamy off white head. pear, apricot, caramel malts, floral hops and hints of nutmeg in the aroma. lively palate. figs and pear. healthy malts and hops balanced very well. peppery up front fades to dry fruity finish. Very nice! ratman197 (3137), Arvada, Colorado, USA Sep 3, 2007 750 ml bottle poured a cloudy orange with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of apple, carmel, spice, light honey and a hint of vanilla. Palate was medium bodied, crisp and slightly syrupy. Flavors of carmel, pepper, light fruitiness and light honey with a warming lingering sweet finish. This beer does not do a good job of hiding it’s alcohol and seems really sweet. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 2, 2007 Updated: Oct 3, 2007Bottle.
