| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 11, 2009 750ml brown bottle, corked. Hazy honey gold colour. Head is creamy, dense, some good lacing left behind. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavour is sweet, honey malts, some yeast spiciness. Some lingering Uni house yeast dries out the finish. Medium to high carbonation, medium body. No sign of that 10% alcohol, quite tasty, though somehow familiar. SDalkoholic (1198), Chula Vista, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 28, 2007 750 mL bottle purchased at Holiday Wine Cellar. This Belgian ale pours as a firm golden color with slight reddish tint. Creates a thick layer of foamy head that will stick around. The aroma is a undeniable Unibroue yeast and spicing that they always achieve. The flavor is a strong delivery of yeast and spice with a light spearmint gum flavor in the background. There is also a small hint of dry fruit such as raisins or mango slices if you can imagine that. Very potent stuff. drfabulous (1285), Columbia, Missouri, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Apricot amber color...lingering creamy head. Aroma of biscuits, bread and amber malt. Rich, sweet, creamy body and flavors of amber malts and subtle tropical notes...some lovely yeast esters as usual with Unibrou. Some spices, bubble gum, powder sugar, white pepper, bitter tropical fruit, alcohol, ginger. Should age nicely. 1FastSTi (2591), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 8, 2007 Pours to a glowing dark amber body with a thin fizzy white head. The aroma is muddled mandarin oranges, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. Nicely blended. The flavor is spice muddled oranges. Cinnamon, mace, orange rind, nutmeg, pepper, and earthy yeasty malts. The palate hides the 10% alcohol extremely well. Sweet, medium bodied, and carbonated. oh6gdx (9155), Vasa, Finland
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Bottled (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is spices, caramel malts, sugary and mild alcohol. Flavour is rather sweet sugar, some mild spices, and yeast and some nectar. Rather sweet, but also shows a more wooden side that probably has come with aging this beauty.
