Bottle. Corked and caged 750mL. Hazy coppery amber pour. Almost a sunset red. Dense sticky head erupts with a violent fury releasing a strong fruit and spice aroma. Belgian yeast, orange, flowers, peppery notes, and sweet malts are abound in the nose. Taste is moderately sweet with dusty yeast, earthy notes, fruit preserves or maybe even a candyish fruit flavor, soft spices, and flowery notes. Body is bubbly and effervescent tingling the tongue and tickling the nose. Lots of carbonation and a medium overall feel. Sticky in spots too. It rounds itself out with a bit of dryness leading to a noticeable flowery hoppiness, cobwebby Belgian yeasts, soft fruit notes, and spices. Pretty typical Unibroue Belgian ale but they do it so well.

Hazy light copper beer, with a huge, well-sustained, frothy head - the nose is heavy on the spice, with orange peel, coriander, lots of belgian fruitiness - high, but medium-soft carbonation in the mouth - surprisingly dry at first - warming alcohol arrives early and sticks around for the long haul, but the strong spicy character compliments the alcohol well - honey, apples, some nutty qualities, a bit of wheaty flavor - strong yeasty character detracts from my enjoyment a little bit - a little tangy on the back end - a tasty beer, but not outstanding.

Pours mahogany with a small head. Aroma is sweet malt and sour fruit (cherry ?). Flavor is sweet with caramelized fruit in the foreground. There is a fairly strong alcohol presence along with a bitter hop finish. A good strong ale.

Slightly hazy amber hue, with a frothy beige head, yeasty, bready dough nose, with some stewed apples fruitiness, hint of cinnamon and nutmeg spiciness, with a raisiny accent, sweet caramelized malt, and a faint toffeeish aroma follows through on a full-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity character, of some candied apple and dark fruits, with a sweet brandy alcoholic mouthfeel, with some biscuity and toasted malts, a touch of cinnamon, cloves spiciness, leading towards an alcoholic, malty, fruity and a faint lingering hop bitterness finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a yeasty malty dark fruit aroma. Sweet malty and slightly yeasty dark fruit and caramel flavor. Sweetish yeasty and slightly warming malty finish.

Gorgeous ruby/amber topped by 3cm of dense, small bubbled, tan foam. Zesty Unibroue yeast, candi sugar, light and dark fruits, dense bready malt. Like an amber tripel. Dry, yeasty finish. Full body makes up for too much carbonation. Overall pretty solid.

rich murky caramel colored with a large creamy light tan head. aroma of caramel, floral, licorice. foamy, carbonated mouthfeel. medium-full bodied palate. typical unibroue yeastyness with a spicy, banana, clove, licorice flavor. very nice but no surprises.
