I acquired a delicious bottle of this beer in Quebec City. It pours a dark malty color with a good, thick head. It has a nice malty flavor with subtle sweetness, and a bit of booziness at the end coming in at a whopping 10 percent. I am glad I was able to try this about a week after the 16.

Pours dark amber brown, dark fruits, caramel, spices, brown sugar, little yeasty, little alcohol.

Pours dark and cloudy...medium head. Bitter and sweet together. Flavors of orange zest and dried fruit, maybe prune. Aftertaste coffee and chocolate. A bit of a cognac-like mouthfeel. Definitive alcohol burn. Probably my favorite Unibroue product sampled thus far.

Picked up at a BevMo in San Fran in a 750. Dark reddish brown pour with a solid creamy white head. Nice fruit esters in the aroma, cherry and plum being most notable. Also nice flavor of those fruits plus brown sugar and some light spiciness. Smooth finish to an overall solid brew.

Found this at Willowbrook binny’s. Brown pour with big ol’ white head. Malty aroma with some oak, spice and vanilla. Some fruit. Flavor is fruity. Some vanilla, mostly dark fruit and spices. Warming alcohol presence. Great beer.

Brown in color and hazy with a thick off-white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with some caramel and a yeasty character. Taste is of fruit and sweet malts.
