Wow. I can see why this is so highly rated. Pours quite brown. Nice and smooth on the palate. Nicely fruited and spice. Way to go Unibroue.

I drank this one on election night in while celebrating the results. Screw champagne! I expected this one to be golden in color and was surprised by its browness. Lots of dark fruit. Somewhat syrupy. Plum, fig, raisin, maybe a touch of caramel, and a bit of molasses. Lively carbonation. Solid.

Shared by Ethan. Didn’t care for this anniversary too much. Heavy dark fruit and molasses flavor. Unibroue house character nowhere to be found. Odd.

750 mL bottle - pours a dense, medium brown head. Full body of flavors typically associated with these brews. Plenty of carbonation. Masked, but noticeable taste of higher alcohol content. The Unibroue guys produce some good stuff!

750 ml bottle. Pours a rich dark mahogany with a dense tan head. Nice full nose of fig, raisin, caramel and toffee. Medium to heavy body. Rich palette of figs, apricot and raisins in a velvety texture with a moderate bitterness and moderate alcohol warming. Slightly tart, lingering finish.

Dark brown with a foamy light tan head that leaves foam on the top of the liquid for the duration. Smells like rum, malt and fresh dark cherries. Taste is slightly like soy sauce, with sugar and more more dark cherries. Nice warming beer.

Bottled. Hazy mahogany colour, rich firm head. Intense fruity roasted chestnut aroma. Sweet and fruity. caramelly and faiely lively with prunes and overripe plums. Feels dusty and mature.
