[bottle]
Slight cardboard in the aroma, which is cereal grainy with light fruity accents and some yeastiness. Murky yellow-orange under a thin, white cover and ring. Sweet and sugary flavour with a spicy, yeasty finish. Refreshing Belgian dubbel-like plus aged barley wine. Light body, medium carbonation, clean tropical fruit finish.

341ml bottle with 7% a/v, a gift from my brother.
Hazy gold colour with white head, aroma is fruity and slightly hoppy, with some spice notes as well. Taste is very light and wheaty actually, very hard to beleive this is 7%! Palate is very clean and light, and overall a pretty good beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Clair-Obscur (2) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 4, 2011 does not count
Here we got a decent strong blond beer that may rivals against alot of strong blond brewers. Confecting a good tasting blond is hard, but adding it strenght for a better flavor may be only done by a Master Brewer. For this recipe they got a Master Brewer.

It’s.... back! Purchased at BroueHaHa, in a Unibroue mix 12-pack (with Blanche, Blonde and Fin du Monde).
Pours hazy blond, with picture-perfct head and rather good retention. Aroma is bread, fruity esters and spices. Perfectly balanced taste, with the yeast, spices, barley, wheat and gentle floral hops all having finding their way. Finish is smooth and crisp. Oily mouthfeel, medium-bodied beer.
It probably won’t last forever, but Unibroue’s best is back! Think of it as an extremely well-made version of a very stong Witbier.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SlovakSniper (1148) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 5, 2011
(Vintage 2011) Hazy light golden. Foamy white head with excellent retention. Pretty nice lacing. Yeasty Unibroue aroma for sure. Yellow fruits, maybe some peaches, banana sweetness and apricots. Spicy twist, mainly coriander. Some honey flowers surrounded by wheat. Taste is sweet with a fair amount of spices and fruits. Body is medium, carbonation is good and texture is creamy. Sweet and fresh aftertaste. Overall, a classic Unibroue.
