Draft to pint. Looks fine; light with some head. Smells VERY sweet and clovey. Tastes sweet, but with a disappointing watered-down body. Maybe my palate has just moved past this style; or maybe it’s the beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Caytinator (97) - Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - MAY 17, 2012
12oz bottle. Big, gnarly head, dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is typical for the style, I’m not good at pointing out specific smells. Taste is a little fruity, light, and pleasant, but not the best witbier I’ve ever had. Pretty good, but I wouldn’t pay the outrageous prices they sometimes charge for Unibroue for THIS beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bunget (133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2012
341ml bottle. Murky yellow body with decent white head with good retention. Aroma of yeast, citrus, coriander and bread. A little sweet. Taste is balanced, a little sour, a little spicy, pretty dry.
An easy drinking, lighter than would expect from the nose.

Tap @ Milltown. Hazy blonde with a thick white lace. Nose is phenols, pepper, bile, earwax, pear, apple. Flavor is esters, some citrus hoops, booze. Okay.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rich916 (29) - California, USA - APR 24, 2012
Bottle: Pours a murky light yellow with a small white fully diminishing head.
Aroma of bread-cereal, some band-aid horse blanket funk that doesn’t work.
The flavor is acetic and short
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Atheist_Peace (513) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 23, 2012
341ml bottle. Pours a hazy, hazy, yellow with orange aspirations. Fine bubble white head that disappears rather quickly. Citrus fruit and spice on the nose with a hint of sweetness. I remember this being better... Thin on the palate with none of that classic wit punch. Not refreshing or anything. Sadly disappointed. The bottle seems to think it’s a fresh batch too.
