Light golden brew with a nice foamy white head. Sweet refreshing taste with a fruity aftertaste. Good Unibroue yeast taste. This is one of the very good witbier, better then Hoegarden but not to the level of Blanche de Bruges.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light, whispy, white head. Light golden color, not very much haziness for a witbier. Lots of carbonation. Sweet, floral aroma with hints of honey. Some yeast as well. Yeast carries over onto the palate from the nose. Feels hazy on the tongue. I'd agree with thehoff, not Hoegarden but better than Blue Moon.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2003 Beautiful cloudy white golden hues. Smells of slight lemon scent, with a citrus flavor evident in the first taste. Definitely a white beer, very nice not coming out of Belgium. Not quite a Hoegarden, but better than Blue Moon.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy, golden beer has a huge frothy head and interesting yeasty, biscuity aroma that offered little hints of citrus and vanilla. Long, lingering biscuit flavor was quite enjoyable, although I expected more spice. Middle was very toasty and rich with tangy citrus notes mixed in. Finish was rather bland, but overall it is a fresh wheat that I thought leaned toward the American Wheat style.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smells like most witbiers with spiciness prevailing. Appearance is almost like a Budweiser or something; super yellow and minimal cloudiness compared to other whites. The head disappears quickly. Initial taste is good but the aftertaste is slighty funky. Too watery. Actually, the taste of lees is predominant and takes the place of the spicier coriander. A very enjoyable brew, but can't hold its own compared to the better Belgian Witbiers.

Musky, grape, saltwater, honey. Cloudy pale yellow w/egg white foamy lacing head. Light watery body w/high carb. Light malt-hop balance. Bit of citrus. Mellow and refreshing. Clean finish & after. Good but one-dimensional.

Pours a pale yellow, with a effervescent head that quickly retrates. Yeasty nose, citrusy flavors, a little thin.

This is a very smooth Belgian type beer. Very wheaty with a hint of orange. Similar to that of Hoegarden. I would definitely drink it again.

You really cant go wrong with Unibroue. A good belgian ale but not in the same league as Trois Pistoles. Lighter than most Unibroue brews which may apeal to the preferences of some drinkers.

A very nice Belgian White, but a little tiny bit watered down. I still think it is great and very refreshing in its own way.
