Nice hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma was very peachy with some salty tones. The flavor was similar to the aroma, but had a more acidic character. Easy going...a tad bit watery. Perfect as a summer brew.

Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is moderately yeasty (cobwebs, dough), lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (lemon), with light notes of orange peel and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter, short. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Aroma is a bit yeast-heavy and somewhat on the dull side (I like this style to be bright and spicy), and it has that telltale Unibroue super-short finish (after you swallow, it's as if you haven't been drinking anything at all).

Light looking golden amber color. Some acidity and I didn't like the palate feel. Smooth tasting, average beer that doesn't have alot of flavor.

Strange Brew (157) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 31, 2003
Cloudy pale yellow colour with a creamy head. Aroma of citrus and spices. Thin body with some spices and faint hops. Refreshing although it could be a little more flavourful for a witbier.

Yeah - good wit! Substainial nose of yeast , oranges and cloves. Hazy pale gold-green color and a low fizzy head (very carbonated). Light wit maltiness with some vanilla tones. Napkiny aftertaste. Thinish body and a quick profile, but in line with the style. Good balance.

Full autumns apple nose. Orange body like organic apple juice. Liveley carbonation with a little layer of a head. Thin texture. Apples and honey in the taste.

3/14/2003 - i've been waiting so long, waiting for the sun to rise and shine....Have had an awful case of cabin fever - so cold and dark; ice and snow yesterday, chilling winds today. Well I say spring is here (if only in my mind). I pour this glass of liquid sunshine - hazy golden yellow, perfectly topped with a fluffy head full of clove and grapefruit. Sipping soft whispers of peaches and apricots; tangy lemon and citrus at the finish - dry and somewhat sticky. This is a mellow chamomille euphoria, I close my eyes and drink up the sun.....spring is here.

Gunshy (479) - Ohio, USA - FEB 23, 2003
This beer poured a cloudy straw color and formed a bubbly white head that subsided leaving trace lace. A small amout of carbonation was present. It had a light aroma of hops, lemon and spice. The flavor was light and crisp with elements of citrus and grain. All in all, not a bad beer for this style, but not to the level that you would expect from this brewery.

Nice but not extraordinary, in my opinion, though a worthy buy among belgian whites. Just needs a bit more flavor.

Aroma of wheat and citrus fruit. Nice white creamy head with good lacing. Body is hazy pale yellow. Taste is very wheaty with a strong citrus presence. Finish is rather acidic and sour. I prefer the Hoe!
