A wonderfully refreshing beer that I could drink three 750s of. Very fruity with a heavenly bouquet and a very refreshing if not mellow aftertaste.

Yellow colour, mixed with swirls of orange. Slight carbonation. Lots of citrus in the flavour (lemon). Finishes slightly sour. Another great beer from Unibroue.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale yellowish-white color of a traditional wit. Nose of coriander and orange-peel. Very nice delicate texture. Extremely drinkable. Right up there with Hoegaarden and Celis.

An excellent Wit. I find this brewery to be one of the best Belgian breweries outside of Belgium. This wit has a wonderful coriander and bitter orange nose with just the right amount of spiciness. The beer was extremely refreshing. A very nice subtle wheat falvor not over powered by the spice.

This is one of the prettiest blondes I saw in the bar that night. She tastes smooth, not too many curves and she gave me a great head. With a mouth like that, I thought she would taste a little spicier, but no complaints. I am bringing this one home to mom.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Foamed out of the bottle shortly after the cap came off, big, pillowy head, hazy yellow body. Sweet fruit (pears?) and wheat (?) in the nose. Sweet citrus flavors with no carbonation despite all the commotion upon opening. Thin body. Not my idea of a wit at all. Tastes okay, but could use some liveliness and a lot more body.

This is where my rating sheet starts become illegible for the night. Pale yellow, but huge head. I got sweet pears and apples as the predominant tastes here. Very smooth, a good intro a Belgians. Mildly unpleasant aftertaste, but doesn’t detract from it being a great beer at all.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale, pale yellow. Looks like lemonade. Sweet smell of honey and citrus. Yep, Lemony-honey like taste, but not strong. It feels like I’m trying to listen to faint whispering and I can’t understand the words. A little sweet, a little tarty, not very big. Interesting twang to the aftertaste, hardly there. You’ll have to listen closely to here this one.

Pours with a citrus/pepper/mint/herbal aroma. Average wit head. Cloudy, yellow. Nicely balanced sweet/dry wheat flavor w. a hint of anise and bubblegum. Clean, simple and quenching.
