SamGamgee (1394), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA Jan 23, 2009 12oz bottle. A hazy gold with a lasting white head and lots of visible carbonation streams. The aroma seems quite Unibroue: ripe banana, orange, pear, and spiced persimmon bread The flavor is lightly sweet with some light grainy wheat, banana, citrus, and yeast. Starts very effervescent, but after some bubbles are released, there is a lively, light body. Seems more like a session strength fin du monde with some wheat thrown in than a wit. Kinda weak, I could use some tartness or spice in here. unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Jan 23, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy peach flavor, with a fizzy white head. White beers are some of the uglier beers around, but looks can be deceiving. Aromas of cloves, banana, and hay. A real farmhouse feel in the nose. Flavors of spices are present. Nutmeg, wheat, hay. Good. A watery finish that tickles the tongue and fancy. Good beer Jblauvs (530), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jan 21, 2009 12oz. slightly hazy golden pour with frothy head that dissipates quickly. Zesty citrus aromas and hints of banana and spice flow off of the top of this nice looking brew. slightly effervescent character, spicy citrus fruit. light and refreshing, a pleasant experience, very drinkable. aletales (73), , Oklahoma, USA Jan 18, 2009 There is something about this beer that made me happy. Maybe it was the way the citrus aroma reminded me of a Christmas kitchen, or maybe it was the lemony color as it poured into the glass. Maybe it was both of those things, but I know for sure that the tase was pleasant and light. This beer is now on my favorites list. webbcreative (111), , Oklahoma, USA Jan 18, 2009 yellow color, nice 4 finger head. Great tastes, taste is almost identical to Pranqster to me. Good Brew, would get again, no problem. Cole (264), , Alberta, Canada Jan 15, 2009 From 750ml bottle. Great weiss beer. Excellent aroma citris fruit and banana. Tastes like citris fuit as well, hint of banana, cloves, and spice. Wasatch (270), Layton, Utah, USA Jan 10, 2009 Poured a yellow color, nice carbonation, small head for a wheat beer and some nice lacing afterwards. Scents of citrus, sweetness, grassy. Very nice taste for a wheat beer, sweet with a nice mellow after taste. Light-medium body. Very drinkable, would recommend. Another excellent brew from Unibroue.
