penguinjive7 (67), Buffalo, New York, USA Nov 20, 2008 Pours a hazy light golden color with a susbstantial white bubbly head.
I can really smell the yeast and a bit of ripe fruit.
Taste is very yeasty with a dry fruity finish
The feel is bubbly and slightly dry, yet refreshing.
This is definitely a refreshing brew. I could have a few of these without any problem. Nothing terribly complex or overly exciting about this one, but it definitely holds it’s own. A solid good buy.

Pours apple juice yellow iwth slight orange hues and 2 finger fizzy, white head, diminishing to a 1/4" foam, rimming. Nose of banana cream pie and slight citrus, lemon. Also slight coriander spiciness. Taste is malty with lots of fruity esters, banana, lemon, and mild orange, maybe slight cherry. Lots of yeasty spiciness, coriander and mild clove with mild to moderate bitter. Very dry finish with bitter present. Pretty decent. Flavors seem muted. You really have to dig for them. A bit watery. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA Nov 3, 2008 on tap at hopcat. pours typical wit hazy yellow with medium white head. aroma is spicy, yeasty. some corriander in the flavor, malty. lots of yeast in the aftertaste. medium-heavy carbonation. nice session beer. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Oct 30, 2008 Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a cloudy yellow. Aromas of orange and spice. Flavor has too much orange, White beers aren’t high on my list. But this one wasn’t that bad, had a little more of a crisp alcohol bite to it. tarheels86 (700), Washington DC, USA Oct 28, 2008 330 mL bottle. Really the first Unibroue I have been disappointed with. Pours a hazy, bright yellow with a medium, white head. Rather low carbonation. Nose is water, lemon, cloves, coriander, and faint bananas. Maybe some bubble gum. Mouthfeel is very light, watery, and unremarkable. Not much yeast in the flavor. There is certainly something missing. You would think Unibroue + one of my favorite styles = awesome. But this is a very half-assed witbier to say the least. It makes macros like Hoegaarden look pretty damn good. I’m sad and disappointed. terrybail (330), London, Ontario, Canada Oct 28, 2008 750ml Bottle from the LCBO
I am going to have to try this one again as my mind is fussy on the details
MatSciGuy (627), Rosemount, Minnesota, USA Oct 26, 2008 [Bottle] Pours a hazy chunky gold with a medium whitish head. Aroma is pepper, wheat malt, and clove. Flavor is vanilla, yeast, tart wheat, and spices. Light and crisp palate. BartC (398), Lichtaart, Belgium Oct 22, 2008 Hazy beer with a very small head. Low carbonation. Tastes a bit sweetish. Reminds a bit of cherry-gum. A look on the label learns me that the beer over 4 years old is. It’s nicely aged.
