Unibroue Blanche de Chambly

Light gold pour with fluffy off white head and drippy lace. Citrus and coriander on the nose. Similar flavor. Thin bodied, with the hot summer season dying down, I drank this at the time I presume

Pours cloudy pale yellow, thin head, yeasty lemon scent. Rotten taste, I’ve tried it 3 times and shame on me for thinking it would get better. It’s tastes like a belgian wheat beer, not my style, but I’ve tasted better beer of this style. I won’t drink it again.

[Eyes] Soft orange pale white color, with good foamy and decent white head. [Nouse] Sweet orange, lemon, notes of vanilla and yeast. Romantic aroma. [Mouth] mmm thin light and dry. Too much carbonationr, light citrics fruit and not enough malt and hop. Yeast flavors play with a good smooth citric flavor, a little more malt give a little more body...

I do really like this beer and would consider it to be one my favourite Beligum White Beers. The taste is very nice with a strong wheat taste and subtle hints of fruit and spice.

Bouteille de 341 ml. Nos yeux observent une bière de couleur jaune très voilé tirant sur le brun (j’ai ajouté la lie) ainsi qu’une belle mousse blanche imposante, crémeuse et durable. Notre nez respire des arômes de coriandre, d’orange, de citron, de levure et de miel. En bouche le corps est rond avec une effervescence moyenne. On goûte des saveurs douces et crémeuses de zeste d’orange, de miel, de coriandre avec une pointe de banane mûre. La finale est douce.

I found a white that I liked, goodness sake, unbelievable... I will get more of this one. Whites are one of the least favorite styles, behind pale lagers, but this one fits the bill and I enjoyed it immensely.

Very pale yellow colour and cloudy, with a firm white head. Aroma of yeast, oranges, lemon, and some hops. Flavor is sweet and light, yeasty with some citric notes. Thin texture.

Pours a clear pale yellow color with a fizzy lasting white head. Smell is wheaty first and foremost followed by some banana yeasty scent. Taste is very wheaty with some bubble gummy flavors. Not very citrusy at all, and more richly wheaty and gummy in flavor. Still very drinkable and a solid witbier.
