Imperial-John (154), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Apr 5, 2008 750ml bottle at LCBO. Cloudy gold with a thick foamy white head. Strong enticing yeasty aroma. Refreshing yeasty, spicy, bubbly taste. Reminds me of a mini Duvel. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 3, 2008 poured a slightly hazy yellow with an ample 2 fingers of head. Aroma was lots of wheat, similar to cream of wheat accept with a bit of tartness. Flavor was all tart cream of wheat with little citrus or spicing coming through. Though it had some tartness it wasn’t nearly enough to make the beer refreshing. very active, typical unibroue mouth feel. Not a good white ale. jstraw (750), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 2, 2008 In bottle at Jerry’s.
