Rretorgosto seco.<P> robforbes (1083), Bremerton, Washington, USA Dec 15, 2007 pour is a cloudy light yellow with a small white fizzy head, a little lacing.
smell is sweet, citrus in the background, wheat, touch of banana and pear.
taste is bit sour, citrus, tangy on the back of the tongue, heavy carbonation, some apple and pear. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Dec 14, 2007 All foam out of the bottle. What do they do, pump this **** full of CO2 or what? Anyway, the beer has a very sweet lemon aroma, and taste like lemonade practically as well. Its a bright yellow and a little cloudy. Very acidic. dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Dec 13, 2007 330ml bottle.
Beautiful eruption of foam when this one is poured. Strong white head over a sparkling pale yellow with lots of bubbles and haze. Smells of light fruits, wheat, yeast and caramel. The flavour is spicy and bready with lemon peel and banana notes in the finish. Light and medium thin body with slightly above average carbonation. Refreshing and easy drinking. My favourite Unibroue yet. JoeZasada (133), Beaumont, Alberta, Canada Dec 12, 2007 A tasty belgian white - aromas of banana, kind of light, delicious Unibroue ale yeast taste.. this is the way a Belgian white should be made! dyetube (397), Dallas, Texas, USA Dec 12, 2007 This beer pours a light yellow with a large white head leaving a little lacing down the sides. The aromas are banana and belgian yeast. The flavors are pretty much in sync but are kinda bland. not a lot of carbonation which I like but I think this could’ve used more. This beer fell flat for me. won’t get this again. Cheers! tgncc (796), Bellmore, New York, USA Dec 8, 2007 The aroma is standard to Belgian White beers, a noticable citrusy aroma, with some spiciness thrown in. The beer is an amber/yellow/slightly red color. Carbonation is high, normal for this type of beer. The appearance is hazy, lots of bubbles. The taste is of wheat, and a little spicyness. The taste was ok, but not remarkable. A little sweetness on the palate. Thi/medium mouthfeel. Definitely more of a summer beer. Not bad at all. Of course, my expectations are always high with Unibroue beers, since they are one of the best out there. SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy Dec 6, 2007 Bottle: Poured a hazy white yellow, with a white carbonated head. Aroma are sweet and citrus. Taste is a wheat with very little citrus bite, very balanced.
