RSRIZZO (1332), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Dec 1, 2007 Had this beer on 6/23/2000. Aroma is a light sweet malt scent with citrusy back tones. Color is a pale hazy gold with very light carbonation and head. Taste is sweet and sour with a tang. Starting with light body it goes down crisper than you would think from the carbonation. Finish is a lightly sweet flavor followed by a strong sourness. junon (210), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Nov 23, 2007 Updated: Mar 4, 2008This is a welcome departure from the last few White and Hefes Ive had. Aroma is very sweet almost Lambic sweet. Foamy white head that fizzles fairly fast. Appearance is cloudy much more so than say, Hoegaarden. Looks more like a German Hefe instead of a White. This has a ton of sediment which I like to see in my wheats. Tastes a bit more spicy and citrus than other Witbiers. Gethinbeer (993), Nova Scotia, Canada Nov 22, 2007 Bottle. Spice/herb aroma. Cloudy appearance. Off yellow with a thin white head. Sweet, citrus flavour with some herbs in there. Nowt special and had many better of this style. EKGoldings (447), Radford, Virginia, USA Nov 18, 2007 Well, I like the wit style for summer drinking and have tried most of the ones down below. I thought this one was pretty good but not at the top of the class. The spice appears to be lighted in the one I just had than ones I remember having last year. Chapel (327), Levittown, New York, USA Nov 15, 2007 Pours unfiltered golden with a white head. Light citrus aroma and flavor. Some corriander. Not highly unique flavor, but a very cleanly done flavor. mediocremortis (3), USA does not count Nov 10, 2007 Very easy white Canadian beer. Hazy in color. Spectacular finish. Great for the summer. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Nov 4, 2007 Updated: Nov 2, 2009750mL bottle. Pours a hazy orange. Aroma is light citrus and yeast. Finish is partly dry, but the beer in general is smooth and refreshing. wcampbell (567), Central, South Carolina, USA Nov 3, 2007 Light, sweet aroma of yeast and wheat. The spices are not as dominant in this one as they are in some other witbiers. Lightly bitter finish. Refreshing and easy to drink.
