3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jeremyh70 (355) - Missouri, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Pours a golden yellow with crisp white head and a little lacing. Lots of bubbles rising from the carbonation. Smells a little funky with apparently coriander and orange that is standard for a witbier. Taste is wheat with coriander and orange. Refreshing and light. Thin lively mouthfeel until it went flat about two thirds of the way through, but taste was still there. Would be good for summer drinking. Bought in Liberty at Olive or Twist.

Une des meilleures blanches qu’il m’ait été donné de goûter. Agrumes, fruits tropicaux, effervescence contenue, saveurs puissantes mais bien balancées. Excellente bière d’été.

750 ml caged and corked bottle, best before 10-20-13. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a cloudy straw gold color with about an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like wheat, lemon peel, coriander, and some cloves. It tastes like wheat, lemon and orange peel, coriander, apricots, and a bit of peppery spice. The finish is sweet and fruity. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s crisp and refreshing and is also well carbonated. It would be even better on a hot day instead of on a kinda cold January day! I think this is a good brew, it’s definitely worth trying. $6.49 a bottle.

This is a nice crisp wheat beer. A real thirst quencher. On a hot day perfect. Lite in aspects. Yeah what everybody else said......tart, lemon, wheat, funk.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Jimthechap (1195) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 27, 2012
Appears an opaque yellow-gold with a temporary white head. Smells of banana, clove and has with it a touch of cellar must. Smells authentic for something a world away in origin. Plenty of carbonation in the mouth and smooth like lemon curd. Added flavours of dehydrated banana chips add to a lingering wit finish of orange peel that was becoming more apprent at the end. Excellent in style and good aperitif beer.

On tap at Global Brew. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a thin white head. Has a slight lemon aroma, otherwise nearly odorless. The taste and texture are thin, but well balanced. Taste is predominantly fresh French bread and lemon zest. This is a real thirst quencher, but very low key.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 joebudzjoe (622) - Connecticut, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Big bottle given from my boss at a holidays party (nice boss, eh?) While most Belgian whites leave me feeling farty, this brew provided a nice drinking experience, despite heavy consumption of stomach-sensitive foods. Some spice flavors of the yeast and even some white tea notes, but overall this beer was pretty bland. Nothing bad from this beer, just not much going on.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a moderate white head. Nose is actually a little spicy, which surprised me a tad, with an earthy yeast note. Taste is a tad citrus, but fairly light overall. Meh.

Aroma: strong banana, molasses, grape, sweet sweet
Appearance: darker golden color, small head that doesn't hang around for too long, hazy, particles floating around
Taste: smooth, molasses finish, fruity, refreshing, floral
Palate: smooth, not overly dry, sweet, not much of an aftertaste
Overall: reminds me of sugar cane, very strong molasses aroma to it, very drinkable, I like it
