BelgianBeerGal (1274), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 3, 2007 Updated: Jun 15, 200975bl corked bottle. Poured a hazy yellow and faint green? colour. Everything was a nice witbier but there was something strange in the finish. Will rate again after getting another bottle and see if I can’t determine the flavours. bmanLS (114), Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 2, 2007 Popcorn yellow and cloudly with quick fizzy head best describes how this white pours out. Sweet aroma of orange peels maybe with a spicy flavor similar to other whites. I like it, try one. LinusStick (1830), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 2, 2007 Woah...other level warning! Other level warning. This beer takes one of my most beloved styles to a new extreme! Awesome pour; light murky gold with a one finger white head. Aroma was so so. Could pick up the yeast and wheat. The taste, though...if you are a fan of this style you will recognize immediately how much tastier this is than any other wit you’ve had. Lemon and citrus hit the back of the throat. Extensive carbonation burns the mouth and the wheat flirts in and out keeping the sugars in check (which are faint). This is a very complex beer. LordBeamish (144), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Sep 29, 2007 750 ml bottle: Shared this one with the King on a friday night. Typical wheat pour: pale yellow, translucent, unfiltered looking with an ample white head. However, it smelled and tasted really yeasty. It tasted like more than the 5% alcohol content on the bottle. Thin with no real characteristics worth reporting. Over-rated. Not a beer I would choose to sit back and unwind with. Almost as bad as the Rickard’s White! KingofCastle (202), London, Ontario, Canada Sep 29, 2007 750 mL bottle: Over-rated beer. Wicked carbonation, lemon flavour, thin head which goes down fast. Very yeasty. For me, this beer just lacks real body, either in upfront taste, mouthfeel or finish. I’d drink Blue Moon any day over this, but try Erdinger or Hacker-Pschorr for real German classics loaded with way more flavour & character. Gpnterojd (162), Orangeville, Ontario, Canada Sep 28, 2007 Updated: Nov 4, 2007750mL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma of orange and coriander. Aroma is tainted due to the entire campus smelling like shit today after farmers randomly spread manure at the end of September. Nice, tangy orange flavour with shades of typical Unibroue yeast. Some warmth on the palate. Finishes quickly. Extremely well balanced. jackson220 (136), new lenox, Illinois, USA Sep 24, 2007 Bottle...I’ve always had a soft spot for this Brewery and this is a nice summer session beer. Light spices, lemon and wheat emerge from this hazy golden brew. Very crisp and refreshing lemon and grapefruit and somewhat surprisingly sweet mouthful. Pleasant mild tart finish. While not a Unibroue classic, it is a solid beer. yep

Nice hazy/cloudy pale yellow colour with thick white head. A great aroma of corriander, and mixed spice. Soft citrus mouthfeel.
