Aug 25, 2007 Typical serviceable wheat. Though seemed more of the German style than the Belgian as I noticed mostly bananas and cloves in the nose with only a hint of orange. The look is light and unfiltered, the head is thick and white. The palate is nice and mellow, with a banana taste predominant. Good.

Aug 22, 2007 Pours a light gold with ample white head. Typical spicy/citrusy coriander aroma. Tastes very spicy with some fruit as well. Finishes dryer than I expected. Very refreshing.

Aug 15, 2007 Vanilla/citrus scent with a slight hint of hazelnut. Light color with little head and smooth, crisp palate. Easy drinking beer with not much flavor and hint of spice in the aftertaste. A great way for me to explain the taste would be "tame"...

Aug 13, 2007 POurs light orange with some decent head. The sense of citrus and spice shows through and with the palate you get banana and corriander along with the clean hint of the wheat.

Aug 7, 2007 Very nice Witbier, another solid effort by Unibroue. Cloudy golden orange pour with a three finger head that settles over time. Ample strings of lacing. Hearty citrus scent with the noticeable yeast, and some spicy banana also pulls through creating a wonderful aroma. Easy and clean on the palate, very light and lively with no lingering aftertaste. Mellow flavor very typical of a well crafted Wit. Fruity with some doughy malt and subtle yeast flavor. Rather tame and well enjoyed. This is a nice one but would be rather difficult to distinguish among the other standards in this style. Nothing surprising and it delivers a great aroma and pleasant mild taste.

Aug 6, 2007 A very good wit. Bright yellow pour with a frothy white head. Spun sugar, bananas, lemon, and wheat in the nose. Sweet, wheaty taste with oranges, lemon, bubblegum, and a meringue-like sweetness. Sticky but refreshing.

Aug 3, 2007 Straw, hazy with a huge, white head. The aroma is refreshing with notes of coriander, citrus, wheat and sweetness - and the same goes for the flavour. It’s quenching, refreshing and sweetish - quite harmonic - tasted on the first hot day (April 25. 2007). 2034
