Cloudy, caramel color, bubbly due to carbonation. nice mouthfeel, mildly sweet taste. slightly overcarbonated. Wouldn’t reccomend this one too highly, many better alternatives. Aromas of corriander, some orange peel, and lots of grain. Flavor is very much the same. A little fizzy on the palate but overall a pretty refreshing brew. downender (2570), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

I’m surprised this beer is so hated! It’s meant to be cloudy (it’s a wietbier "from" Belgium). Great with lime. Has a fruity smell. My new favorite summer beer! Nice and light...refreshing. More tasty than traditional wheat ales. talon1117 (618), Bellvue, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Pours a hazy, golden straw color with noticable effervescents and a fairly full, white, rocky head; longevity is decent and lacing is minimal. Nose solid; yeasty and estery with bananas, light bubblegum, clove, and faint corriander. Flavors are similar but somewhat bland; grainy, yeasty, and citrusy with lemons, light banana, light clove, and hints of bubblegum and corriander. Palate is lively, watery, moderately light, and somewhat refreshing. Finishes quickly with bubblegum notes, yeast, and small hints of corriander. Not a bad white, but lacking any bold flavors or a firm palate. Plenty of nice aspects, just not put together incredibly well. Ron (1009), Rochester, New York, USA

Large white foamy head that stayed around awhile. Aroma of yeast and a slight hint of ripe fruit sweetness. Flavor is very carbonated and gives off a very grainy yeasty character with some lemon. Nice refreshing beer. ekstedt (2420), Göteborg, Sweden

Quite weak and neutral malt aroma with strong citric notes and some yeast and clove. Medium bodied, a bit fizzy mouthfeel, nicely balanced. Boring but quite refreshing. Cloudy pale straw color with a medium white head that fades. Aroma is typical Witbier yeast, citrus, and coriander. Flavor is the same, but more prominent. Very nice body. Smooth and refreshing. Clean finish. A little sweet for my tastes, but that is common in the style. One of the better Witbiers I have tried.
