A lot of carbonation and a bit of wateriness detracts from an otherwise decent brew.

Poured cloudy yellow/golden with a large foamy head that dissapeared quickly. Very high carbonation, didn’t care for that at all. Smelled of citrus and spices, not too overpowering. Tasted of lemon zest, but somewhat bland and uninspired. It seemed like Unibroue wanted to add a witbier to their stable but didn’t put any tought or testing behind it. Don’t get me wrong, good beer but dissapointing from Unibroue and not my favorite white.

341 mL bottle. Pours a cloudy pale golden with foamy head. Aroma is of coriander and spruce. Taste is light, a bit floral and fruity, maybe peach. Finish is sweet, a bit of bubblegum. Overall a pretty nice light beer.

Typisk witbier, som ikke har den store smag. Tynd og gæret. Lys som hoogarden - ikke noget specielt.

750ml bottle. Hazy golden/yellow with a medium sized head that dissapeared pretty fast. Aroma is wheaty and yeasty with notes offruits, banana, peach, bubblegum. Taste of wheat, yeast, a bit of banana, corriander and citrus. nice lively carbonation but a bit thin. one of the better witbiers.

Bottle @ The Rake. Thanks to Richard for this one on the house. Opaque blonde, no head. Aroma is wheaty with citrus and bubblegum notes. Taste of wheat and fruits. Fizzy like lemonade and medium bodied. Yet another star from Unibroue.

Slightly hazy gold with a fast disappearing white head. Aroma of yeast with a peachy fruitiness. Nice, gentle taste with yeast, banana and coconut. No bitterness. Pretty good.
