Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 9, 2007 Bottle, 33cl. Pale, very hazy yellow colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon suryp with a spicy touch. Weak fruity flavour, some sweetness and a bit acidic. High carbonation. slimchill (771), Austin, Texas, USA Mar 9, 2007 Bottle. Nose is mostly yeast with some lightly sweet citrus notes, but mostly lacking the qualities of a wit, with a nose much more like a hefeweizen. Color is spot on for the style. Very cloudy, highly carbonated pale yellow with a steady, strong white head, nice lacing. Relatively simple taste- sour with some mild citrus, much like the nose. Palate is crisp, but slightly sharp. 17thfloor (1402), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 7, 2007 Updated: Feb 11, 2008thrown off by some of these ratings? Pours thick golden with quick disappearing white sudsy head. Unique taste for a belgian white, licorice, honey, coriander with a bitter & wheat-malt finish. Very sweet though and definitely from Unibroue, like candied wheat. Aroma of sour apples. i thought it was very drinkable, if not a little sticky for a wit. michael-pollack (2598), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 4, 2007 12oz. Bottle: Aroma is lightly sweet. Smells of coriander, lemon, banana, and yeast. Poured a light golden color with a large, frothy, white head that lasted throughout. No lacing. Very cloudy. Sparkling. Tons of particles floating throughout. Very bland flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Flavor has a little lemon, and a little wheat, but that is it. Medium body. Thin texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish with almost no flavor. Overall, very boring. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Feb 28, 2007 bottle. wasnt too impressed with the taste here. seemed like a sour take on a regular wheat. golden color. swoopjones (1862), Buffalo, New York, USA Feb 28, 2007 Updated: Mar 5, 2007On tap @ Sassafrazz, Toronto. Really like this wit. Medium bodied, coriander spice citrus. Very well done. Prefer on tap than in bottle rmussman (905), California, USA Feb 27, 2007 An excellent witbeir. A lot less action than most Unibroue beers. Pours nice and golden brown with a thin lacy head. Mouthfeel is nice with a little acidic taste. Flavor is excellent with no need for a lemon. Aftertaste is sweet and refreshing. An excellent choice. kwoeltje (1313), Manchester, Missouri, USA Feb 16, 2007 (12 oz bottle) Pale gold with fair white head. Fruity aroma. Flavor is yeast, citrus, some spice. Only medium bodied.
