| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Bottle. Huge friggin’ gusher, be surprised if I got 1/2 the bottle. Sweet apple cider and champagne nose. Cloudy, overly carbonated lemon yellow with an obviously unontrollable creamy white head. Mild lemony notes with yeast and mild coriander, thin-medium body, smooth and creamy yet refreshingly crisp ... but ... nothing particularly startling, and I’m still pretty pissed about the mess. entropy1049 (40), Oxford, Iowa, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Pours hazy yellow-gold with a huge white frothy head. Extremely well carbonated. Initial aroma is not good...hell, it’s bad, but after breathing for a bit it develops a nice spicy aroma. Light mouthfeel...the carbonation is fun...corriander and sweet citrus...dry and peppery finish...might need to try this one again but maybe a bit cooler...Really a nice wit, but for God’s sake let it breathe a bit before you go in for a smell. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 31, 2007 This is a great beer to pour. It is highly carbonated and the foam mixes with the body to make for a great visual. The aroma, on the other hand, is unpleasant. Flavor is crisp and clean. It is full of wheat elements such as sweet citrus, coriander, and banana. This was a great beer to pour and drink and had a delicious flavor. The aroma was a negative but everything else was premium. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 28, 2007 Bottled. Pours with a cloudy yellowish hue and a nice creamy head. The flavour is citrusy, with a lemon/lime character and some peppery notes. The finish is fairly dry and is still citrus-like. A good witbier. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 24, 2007 Great Belgian White beer. Spicy yeast taste as well as coriander and orange/citrus. Pours a orange-ish amber with a huge white head. dmradus (225), State College, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2007 Pours a yellow-gold with a fading white, fizzy head. Notes strongly of yeast and wheat funk, with slight coriander, clove, banana making an appearance. Taste similar, slightly sour on the sides of the tongue with an upfront sweetness. Clove, banana, oranges, strongly lemon - just like you’d expect. Well crafted wit; something intangible just doesn’t let me enjoy this one too much. I would call it ’non-descript,’ as one earlier reviewer mentioned, except there is one off-putting note about this one that I can’t quite place. Dezzilu (211), Whitmore Lake, Michigan, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Great smelling beer, lemon zest and something kind of punchy I can’t quite put my finger on. The thin white head stayed with the glass until the last gulp: beautiful. The flavor was light and refreshing, and the aftertaste, although a bit one-dimensional left a really pleasant taste kept me wanting more. A thoroughly enjoyable beer that I am sure would go great with strong flavored cheese, salmon, or hot wings. Cheers, long live Canada! xav33 (313), Midland, MI, Michigan, USA

12 oz bottle
Best before 09/07, bleached 01/07
Medium pour in a tulip glass
Poured a murky straw yellow with a fizzy white somewhat diminishing head. Nice floaties.
Smelt of strong unleavened bread with light flower, citrus and coriander notes.
Taste was upfront strong bitter orange and moderate wheat and coriander followed by a sweaty yeast taste and sour orange on a long finish where the coriander shines through. Palate was light bodied, watery to a dry finish, overly fizzy and moderately puckering.
Overall, this beer would have easily been enjoyed more thoroughly in the summer due to it’s strong orange sourness. Right now, it seems light and blander than I remember. Still tasty and good overall though.
