Jan 18, 2007 341 mL bottle. Translucent white-gold. Aroma is mildly sweet. Smells like a wheat beer. Tastes like a wheat beer. A little different at the end; a flat, grape skinny kinda thing. Not bad.

Jan 18, 2007 Light gold with a little white head. Looks a lot like the Independence Pale Ale actually. Lots of sediment left in the bottle. Aroma has a strong sweetness to it, a little alcoholic and wheaty. Smells like it has some fruit in it. It reminds me a lot of champagne, but doesn’t have the overpowering carbonation. Very sweet, hints of apple and grape, not too alcoholic. Not much of an aftertaste, just a little lingering sweetness. Not bitter at all. It’s really good, even though I’m not a big fan of lighter beers.

Jan 16, 2007 bottle - Pours pale, cloudy yellow with a sizeable, fading head. It has a very yeasty aroma. The sweet flavor with light citrus is nicely balanced on a medium bodied, lively carbonated palate. Clean and rather refreshing, this is a pretty good witbier.

Jan 12, 2007 very nice witbier. nothing spectacular, but a nice effort, lots of orange and corriander in the flavors and aroma, very nice stuff.

Jan 12, 2007 Dull white yellow with bubbly head. Sweet yeasty aroma. Flabour was mild with apple, lemon, belgian yeasty notes. A bit reminiscent of a Hefe, now that I think of it, though without the phenols thank goodness.

Jan 7, 2007 The color was a pale yellow. The head ws creamy and fizzy. The aroma had hints of yeast and citris. The flavor was sour, citris, and yeast. The palate was thin and watery. The finish was slightly sour. This beer was okay, but having tried blanche de chambly with hight expectations, I was a little dissapointed.

Jan 5, 2007 Straw color - fairly hazy with lively bubbles. Head is thin. Aroma of lemongrass,spice and wheat. Flavor is rather light, with a strong presence of lemons and a little spicyness. Finish is clean. It’s not terrible, just nondescript and lacks any real flavor character.

Jan 1, 2007 Looks like a witbier should with a really pale color that is very cloudy. It has a medium head that be a little dense. Smells all spicy. It tastes all clove and spicy, with a little banana taste going for it. It tastes very carbonated and is certainly pretty light. Little sour taste coming off at the end. Not a bad beer. Overall a standard witbier that is pretty drinkable and smooth.
