keithmoon (10), Kentucky, USA Nov 22, 2006 Pours to a cloudy yellow haze with little head. The aroma is malty with hints of vegetable maybe beets almost like a baby food jar. The flavor is well balanced. It is sweet with a slightly bitter finish. It is somewhat fizzy with a smooth aftertaste. If you like white ales you’ll probably enjoy it. mtdshn (174), Moline, Illinois, USA Nov 18, 2006 Bottle. Poured a really nice golden yellow with a massive, solid head that dissapted pretty quickly. Aromas of yeast, lemon, some slightly skunky malt, and a touch of orange. Mouthfeel is very effervescent. Taste is fairly dry, with some candied lemon peel, yeast, and some light orange notes towards the end. I like it quite a bit. rudolf (1734), Buffalo, New York, USA Nov 15, 2006 Cloudy light yellow. Nose is citrus, yeast, spice. Flavor isslightly tart fruit, yeast. Not bad, really. daniel0017 (232), Ontario, Canada Nov 13, 2006 What a beautiful beer! Thick bubbly white head that dissipates fairly quickly and does not leave much lacing on the glass. Looks like a hazy champagne with the lively effervescence that is present even long after uncorking the bottle. As a belgian white, this beer excels in all characteristics. Aroma is subtle, citrusy-sweet, warm and apetizing. Flavor is light, fruity (grapes, citrus) and also a little bit of hops, leaving you with a prolonged similar aftertaste... Wicked! The mouthfeel is slightly tangy and sweet with good carbonation. On the whole, don’t look for something overly complex in this beer. Just enjoy it! Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Nov 12, 2006 Pours a light yellow with a tick foamy white head. Flavour and aroma of banana, spices, a lot of yeast and orange. Did they steal Hoegaarden’s recipe book? Somewhat spicy mouthfeel with a clean, crisp finish. Very good white beer. VeloVampire (483), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 8, 2006 On tap at the Rhino - very light creamed honey colour - almost transparent near the bottom of the glass. Aromas of yeast, banana and lemon and a tiny bit of pepper. Taste much the same, though slighly watered down for a Belgian Wit. Light in all respects. I like that I can get it in bottles, but when on tap, I’ll take Mill Street’s version over this. Pretty good though. BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 7, 2006 355 mL bottle. Pours pale gold, clear with champagne bubbles and a tall foamy, rocky white head that very slowly diminishes to a small head. Aroma is doughy, earthy yeast, malt (hay, straw), flowers, dirt, grass and some light floral hops. Watery sweetness, no bitterness or acidity, light malt, grassy, flowers, yeast (earth) with fruit notes (apple, pineapple). Light bodied and fizzy, bubbly refreshing palate. IrishBoy (2685), Bakersfield, California, USA Nov 5, 2006 Bottle from World Market, Bakersfield; Nose is of light fruits with a little spices; slightly hazy, pale gold with lots of bubbles and a small, lingering, white head; slighty tart, fruity, appley taste in a light body.
