J ai de la misere avec la levure unibroue, beaucoup trop phenolique, surtout pour une blanche belge. Un peu epicer. I dont really like Unibroue s yeast. too phenolic, especially for a wit. A bit spicy.

Bottle. A- Citrus, spice, wheat, soft. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Wheat, spices, subtle citrus. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, light finish. O- This was very similar to a Hoegaarden in my book. Although a little heavier on the spice yet overall lighter on the palate. A decent beer but not super exciting.

Bottle. Pours hazy plae golden with large frothy head. Aroma yeast, spices citrus. Taste is les citrusy than expected, but the yeast works miracles; sweet yet refreshing. Very smooth.

tmoreau (2782) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - APR 14, 2015
12 oz. bottle poured to a Blanche De Chambly flute glass at Lunar Brewing Co., displaying a fairly clear, golden color, with a persistent, creamy & mousse-like, soft white layer of head foam, and clingy waves, spots, and strands of lacing. The nose was lightly coriander spiced & floral, with subtle yeast, light wheat, lemon, and orange zest. A lightly creamy mouthfeel prepped the palate, as the taste mimicked the aroma notes, added a light tartness, and highly effervescent, almost seltzery carbonation, all in a light to medium body. Highly refreshing & flavorful. One of the best examples of the style.

Finger white head, golden color, cloudy, head does not last, good lacing. Aroma: wheat, coriander, orange, light grassy. Palate: light body, average carbonation, slightly cloying. Taste: sweet wheat with coriander, notes of orange and grassy light hops on the tail. Overall, very drinkable, pretty nice, but nothing amazing.

341 ml bottle from a six-pack from Liquor Depot, served in a straight-sided goblet. Unibroue always packages their beers so classily, with foil-covered caps and attractive, informative labeling. Pours a slightly hazy orange-yellow with low carbonation and a short head of off-white that leaves a lace ring or two. Nose features sweet white wine with an earthy undertone, and mild hints of malt, spice, citrus, and banana. Flavor has mildly spicy and somewhat ersatz bananas to spare, with citrus hops and malty toastiness in smaller quantities. Light-bodied, with a clean finish after a short banana aftertaste. A good tipple, but somewhat less refined than the weissbiers from across the pond.

I really love this brewery. Chambly is one of their lighter beers and it's a nice change of pace if your not wanting the heavy thick beer like tres pistoles. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of yeast and bread. Pours a golden straw color with a nice foamy head. Has a nice wheat beer flavor with notes of straw, yeast, fresh baked bread, hay, with a nice mild spice level in the finish of coriander, lemon/orange zest, etc

Tap...nice dry wit with some citrus and hay flavors. Easy drinking and refreshing on a summer day.

12 oz pour from refrigerated bottle into Erdinger .5L Weissbrau glass. Pours a vigorous-but-quickly-dissipating head. After about a minute only about 1/10 of original head remains. Strong carbonation. Straw colored. Nose is orange, coriander, and maybe wheat. Mouthfeel is appropriate for style-- a little watery. Taste is not much, though probably appropriate for style. Dry. Orange and wheat. No bite to it. Fairly bland. Mediocre overall.

Bottle from Drinks of the World, Geneva. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Sweet citrusy aroma. The taste is spicy with citrus and herbal notes. Noce enough wit.
