Bottle-Initially very light but as the yeast is added from the bottle it changes to a dark cloudy yellow hue. A fizzy white head goes away with not lacing at all. Aroma is lemony like a magnolia blossom. Banana and clove is muted. Soapy notes are a negative. A pleasant taste but a bit too lemony. The texture is light. A high carbonation is an interesting feature. Very dry finish makes this beer almost like a champagne. Unibroue is one of my favorite breweries, so I am sure that this is exactly the beer they were trying to make. It is unique but not strictly to my liking. Let me try it again in a year and see if my tastes have changed.

341 ml bottle. Bought in La mise en biere in Lausanne. Fantastic smell to begin with, sugar, almonds, flowers, pepper. Deep amber orange color with low white head; something that called my attention was how loud the fermentation sound was; almost like champagne. Sour taste, but not in the Petrus kind of way, more closer to a traditional belgium taste. Aftertaste is a delight and shows more than the initial taste. Great beer and now after this one and Trois Pistoles i’m getting slowly as a serious fan of Unibroue.

Unclear medium gold. Large fluffy white head. Bigger light body. Creamy and still prickly. Yeasty. Wheat. Citrus. Mild spiciness. I like this better than most of the other wits I’ve had.

First time I had this was years ago in a small Québécois town at a rockabilly weekender festival in the middle of a sweltering summer & it was perfection. Fast forward to tonight, where I enjoy it while I wander the wastelands in Fallout 4 & it may not be as divine as it was in the past but it’s still solid. Spiced candy, champagne mouthfeel, subtle citrus, clean finish, slight soda pop essence.

Good flavor and character, nothing overly remarkable in any way. Strikes me as a great session beer.

Hazy golden color. 3 fingers extra foamy super white sparkly head, lasting 5 minutes and creating a foam island that you can sculpt with each sip. Aromas and flavors of sweet fruity citrus and spicy clove. Perfectly balanced taste with a wheat, bread like feel, and floral hints. Could be tastier. Thick slick, almost creamy body with a prickly champagne like feel. Faint and short well balanced finish making salivate. Overall : Excellent fresh white beer. Missing a little taste and some feel, while not too heavy while eating.

12 oz bottle poured into a plastic cup. Bright banana and a light clove are most noted in the aroma with secondary vanilla and lemon, as well as bread dough. The hazy gold beer has a creamy, white head that shows great retention and a good lace. The beer is a medium high sweet with very little bitterness. The creamy texture has a foamy carbonation and a medium body with flavors of muffin dough and sweet banana. It finishes smooth with a mild spice the hangs around in the aftertaste which is doughy with additional notes of banana, cream, and vanilla.

Fat @ Hotel Pantages, Toronto. Dimmig orange med ett stort vitt skum. Dofter av banan, citrus, gräs och sött godis. Smakinslag av citrus, banan och örter. Mjuk munkänsla, något söt avslutning.

Poured a cloudy golden yellow with lots of puffy head in a snifter at home. Aroma is cereal grains, slight bubblegum, magnolia tree blossoms. Taste is grainy, floral, slight bubblegum, some mild species. Not anything exciting. Moderate to heavy carb. It was pretty mediocre.
