2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 zeek (129) - British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 18, 2011
Bottle was over carbonated, cap exploded off bottle when opening and some beer overflowed the bottle. When pouring into glass almost entire beer was head. Nice golden color and sweet aroma. Bitterness from the wheat? is coming through, slightly unpleasant.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 cleverlobo (186) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 11, 2011
bottle; murky yellow with medium white head; aroma-coriander, citrus, fresh fruits, dough; taste-light sweetness, lightly bitter, soft carbonation, somehow sour. Very good, very close to their Blanche with strong coriander coming through.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TheJester (1229) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 11, 2011
341 mL bottle. Almost a year old. Hazy, banana yellow with a small white head. Smells like a Unibroue; a milder, sweeter Fin du Monde. Wheat, spice and citrus. Flavour is milder, but the spice makes it interesting. Decent finish and body.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 UM02 (187) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 8, 2011
A mild wheat beer. Some nice malt flavour but a bit too watery. Similar to the Blanche de Chambly (rating them together) but not as carbonated. Decent but one of the more mediocre beers from Unibroue. A bit designed for the general non microbrew beer drinkers, ie. a wheat beer for people who aren’t really wheat beer drinkers and want something mild.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 turboespresso (197) - Port Moody, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 7, 2011
Cloudy gold with thin head. Fruity aroma. A whiff of banana. Likewise on the tongue. Fairly effervescent and soft carbonation. Decent.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BLAP (73) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 16, 2011
Hazy blond color. Hay and a little yeast aromas. A deceiving product from Unibroue or maybe a was expecting too much about it. Still, agood beer.
