If this one from any other brewery I’d be a lot more forgiving. The aroma is generic, unremarkable in every way. The beer over-all is of high quality but it lacks the charm of a typical Unibroue

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of Belgian yeast, malt, slight hops, fruit, grain, slight wheat, light banana, clove, and coriander. Poured yellow/gold in color with a tiny white head that lasted as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Lightly hazy. Not sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of malt, Belgian yeast, spices, light bittering hops, cloves, light banana, and some wheat. Medium body. Very tingly, dry texture. Average carbonation. Slightly sweet, medium bitter, Belgian yeast, malt, hops, banana, spice, clove finish is dry.

Unfortunately the whole case must have been shaken in transport. What’s with these beer stores and/or freight carriers!?
Slight citrus and dough. Unfiltered, effervescent, thick yet light mouth feel, lively carbo. medium sweetness, lightly sour.

Clear amber yellow pour with large fluffy white head. Aroma is floral, unibroue yeast, citrus. Taste of yeast, citrus, cinnamon, clove and finish is a little dry. High cabonation. Good summertime beer.

Almost clear copper small white head. Fizzy. Spicy aroma orange peel. Nice parfumy nose I get a bit of lavender in the mix. Body is thin and refreshing.

Pizzeria Paradiso had it categorized as a saison, and that seemed accurate. Pours cloudy yellow, significant white head. Smells of grass, light citrus, and yeast. Very dry chalky palate that continues those flavors with a dry finish that lingers for a bit. Overall pretty strong, not the best saison, but a fine example.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
750 ml bottle. Pours a slightly foggy straw with a white head. Taste is yeast, sweetbread, cereals, not very aggressive. Slightly bitter in the finish. Floral aftertaste. Light-bodied, quite strongly carbonated. It is refreshing, but I think one can easily get their hands on similar or better for a much lower price.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line :
Banana esters, rich wheat and minty hops/spices whip up a compelling Belgian-style Ale in the quencher category.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A creamy head of foam covers the cloudy blond.
-The body is quite fluffy and rich; as if more than barley and wheat were used...
-Herbal hop bitterness is subdued.
-This is very low on the spices, which is rare for Unibroue (and refreshing).
-The nose is evocative. This is not your toned down or diluted Golden Ale for the masses.

On tap at Oblivion! Nice! Nose is unibroue, yeasty spices (some clove and light winter spices), some wheat/grass, and some light citrus. Taste is similar and smooth. Lots of citrus and spice/yeast. Very drinkable at the 5.5% abv. Another winner from Unibroue in my book.
