3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle sample at Rattle n Hum. Pours yellow-gold with a medium, pure-white head. Delicate nose, with fruits, yeast, wheat, honey and grass. Flavor is pleasantly sweet, with faint lemon and more honey. Light to medium in body with soft but fizzy carbonation. Finishes very dry with slight citrus bitterness. Very good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A pale blonde ale with a thin white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, light herbs, coriander, and light sulfur. In mouth, a smooth ale with light fruity banana esters, a bit watery, typical Unibroue yeast mark, a bit on the boring side but drinkable. Bottle from Brouhaha, 1.99$.

A blonde with a subdued spice. Pours a decent off-white head on golden body. Pleasant aroma. Average mouthfeel, decent drinkability. Yeasty, slighly fruity and spicey, and then a drop of harshness in the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Deep golden- yellow pour witha tight white head. There is a little bit of soft lemony spice and some rich fruity esters. There is also some very fruity sweetness along with a bit of melon. Yeasty and a bit sweet along with a bit of lingering yeasty spice. Sort of witbier-esque bit without the coriander and orange peel. Quite a nice Belgian ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2010-11-13. Lightly hazy golden yellow, small white head. 3+ Lightly spicy, yeasty aroma is pleasant with light floral character and mild spice. 7+ Flavour is not overly assertive but is pleasant with a modest yeast and spice profile similar to that of the aroma, touch of coriander. Pretty drinkable. Smooth average palate is well carbonated. Simple but nice. Bottle shared by Blankboy

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 My Bottom Line :
Banana esters, rich wheat and orange-y hops/spices whip up a compelling Belgian-style Ale in the quencher category.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A creamy head of foam covers the cloudy blond.
-The body is quite fluffy and rich; as if more than barley and wheat were used...
-Herbal hop bitterness is subdued.
-This is very low on the spices, which is rare for Unibroue (and refreshing).
-The nose is evocative. This is not your toned down or diluted Golden Ale for the masses.
