341ml bottle. Aroma was mild coriander, light yeast and sweet fruity malt. Pours a hazy banana to school bus yellow with a big fluffy head, Left lots of lace. Taste is a mild coriander spice, fruity sweetness line banana or pineapple, wheat and yeast. Palate is full and dry. Overall, it is not Trois Pistol, but for a lighter Belgian style they didn’t let the coriander get all out of control like some Quebecois attempts.

It could have just been a bad day, but this is the BEST beer I’ve ever had.

It looks pretty -- cloudy golden, with a good head. Malty banana aroma with a sweet taste. Reminds me of a hefe, but sweeter and a bit more noticeable alcohol.

Opaque golden yellow out of the bottle with flecks of sediment. Thin white head. Hefe like nose, pineapple with the slightest touch of banana. Dry in the mouth, heavier than a wheat beer. Difficulty picking out a specific flavor though. Which is one of the only faults I can find. Long finish with banana making a return.

Pours a sharp cloudy orange with almost no head and no lacing. Nose is fruity & beady. Fizzier than I had expected. Taste is rather bland, a bit of bready, sweet over ripe fruit, good and malty. A bit sweet for the style IMO, but decent.

Bottle 750 ml. Not much to say about this beer. A good one, but nothing special. Taste is good, althought it is kind of too sweety and the alcohol taste is very present (like in many Unibroues). Good carbonation. Tasted it along with a two years old (2010). Results were interesting: the fruit and citrus (orange) taste became much more present, as the alcohol taste became more hidden. Bouteille 750 ml.

Originally reviewed: 3/8/09. Pours a mild orange with a popping fizzy white head that leaves quickly. No lacing or webbing present on the glass edge. Smells of pineapple, banana, and spices. Carbonation level is high in this one. Very crisp and fizzy in the mouth. I’d prefer it a tad smoother. Flavor is of pineapple, banana, vanilla, with a slight hop kick in the end. Finishes bready and leaves a tart aftertaste. Not bad. Drinkability is alright on this one, but there’s a few things they could improve on for sure.

Pours cloudy gold with a thick off white head. Aroma is heavy yeast with a tart lemon-like fragrance. Taste is very yeasty also, finishing with a fruity sweetness I can’t quite pin down. It’s like an "in your face" Hefeweizen. Not bad.
