Bottle. Tan orange with small white head. Nose is sourdough bread, clove. Tastes of oranges, brown sugar, sweet bread. A little lively in the mouth. Slightly lighter and drier than other Unibroue 9%s. beerlud (22), Pennsylvania, USA Mar 14, 2009 Pours a hazy mild orange. Huge head, little lace. Nose of lemon frosting and white grape juice. Taste of ripe fruit; pears, peaches, and scupanon’s. Candied fruit sweetness. The beer finishes bitter but taste more like over-ripe fruit than hops. No lingering hop’s on the tongue. The alcohol is nice with this easy drinking beer! Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Mar 9, 2009 750ml bottle from BevMo! Mission Valley. Pours a cloudy medium golden color with an orange hue. Nose was very fruity and quite sweet. Flavor held some Belgian yeast along with candied peaches, a touch of hops and booze in there as well. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Mar 8, 2009 light, but more body than fin du monde- this has a fruitiness to it that is only improved by a marvelous balance of spices. the 9%abv isn’t bad either. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 8, 2009 Pours an orange yellow. Very prominent head. Looks cloudy with lots of live yeast present. Nose is extremely fruity. Taste is equally as fruity with hints of citrus. Aftertaste is not very pleasant. It doesn’t sit very well with me. Juicy fruit anyone? Habanero (610), Tranbjerg, Denmark Mar 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy, golden with a white foamy head. Nose of yeast, spices and peach. Sweet flavour of light malt, spices and oranges. Medium boded. Nice. GardenGabe (125), Denver, Colorado, USA Mar 3, 2009 Cork popped and the room immediately filled with that sweet yeasty smell like bread baking. The pour was golden and clear with delicate carbonation and a creamy head. The head faded quickly but never fully disappeared. Subtle coriander, peach in the nose. Light in the mouth without being thin. Tickles the tongue with a lemon lime. Initially you can taste the sugar (although it is subtle) but no hops. Very slight hop and yeast finished. This is a refreshing beer great for drinking on when refreshing is first in mind! ljstephenson (111), Lawton, Oklahoma, USA Feb 28, 2009 Updated: Jun 28, 2009Cloudy yellow-orange pour with a thinning white head, strong aroma of orange and yeast, flavor is very sweet orange and apple, well-balanced, finishes crisp, very refreshing beer.
